Friend's new M6 (pictures)

ok, one of our friends picked up a new 09 M6. I drove it and damn it is nice. I drove an M5 before and well they feel the same pretty much, very fast, high RPMed monster under the hood (8250prm), handles beautifully, the sounds are amazing, especially on the downshifts when you blip it. WOW!!!

The power is delivered differently from my CL, it's there and probably more, but it's not as pushy, maybe CLs torque talks here.

Anyways, very very very nice car in anyways.

I seen a black M6 a few months back in Gurnee, IL. Those cars are very badass.
 
That car is hot. I love the 6 series.
 
Drove an M6, and I hated the SMG. I had WAY more fun hauling the ass in lotus elise across the street. :D :D


But I did constantly dream about the M6 for weeks... :)
 
I liked the SMG, very solid, hard shifts, no hesitation or anything. Matches a car like the M6. Maybe manual would be more fun, but this is way too much fun already, especially when you downshift. Drove a new M3 before, shifts faster and smoother then the one in M6 because of the doubleclutch.
 
Probably just me... But I cannot stand the modern BMW's at all. I find their 'Bangle-ized' styling to be contrived and hideous. Guess I'm stuck in a time warp and am 'hung up' on the looks of the 850 CSI. :rolleyes:

I love those cars too. I looked at buying one but they still cost a pretty penny and couldn't I find one without ridiculously high miles

This is what I've always said... The BMWs newer than 05-06 are just not my style... I do however dream of one day owning an 03-06 M3 :cool:
 
I know the styling got kind of wierd, but the way the drive... that's where that car shines.
 
I do not like the rear of the M6, I do not like it at all :(

Pretty soon my friend and his dad are taking out their cars from storage, 95 Caprice SS, 02 M5, I'll see if I can get some pics of all the cars.

Also, that black merc in the middle, the flat metallic rims really are not doing any justice IMO, some nice chrome ones like the silver merc would look bad ass.
 
great cars there Artur. you have some very good car company. i love the M6's, they look great. i've never driven one but i'm sure they are as great as you say they are.

200ms shifts are badass, but I never found my groove just trying to cruise it. Bucking as I came to stoplights because it was trying to rev match at 2k rpm.

But yep if your ass raping it, its freakin' awesome! I loved the brakes on it as well, crisp sharp and slows yer butt quick!

Horsepower freaks FTW! If you don't know then educate yourself. 600-700 whp and 147mph trap speeds on standard radials. Gives me a hard on thinking about it. :D

I think that the M6 looks the best from the rear. The chrome wheels on the S are the original wheels that came on my black CL, I put these polished ones recently and i love em.
