First gen (non 96) a/c wiring diagram needed, please!

Hey guys, I'm at work so I can't get on FMC dealer to look at wiring diagrams, but I need a wiring diagram for the a/c electrical for the high speed fan and the a/c clutch.

The (radiator) fan is fully controlled by ECU (engine ECU I mean), and a/c clutch is directly controlled by EATC computer. Speaking about salon fan - it has the power controller mounted on, which is again controlled by EATC by 1-wire connection. The separation if that wire cause fan to run at full speed.

I was thinking the same thing. Then again, wasn't gonna say for sure since I have tried a W3Z3 PCM and turned the key to the ON position just to hear the cooling fan kick on??? Sounds odd but I still have it here and it happened.

Something just dawned on me Jamie, why was no refrigerant in the a/c system causing the fan to not work and the car to overheat?

VCRM only powers the fan, the main CONTROL unit is PCM, according to engine temp & a/c on/off (taken from EATC). Can be easily checked disconnecting the temp sensor - the fan mast start immediately, regardless to a/c operation. Info taken from elecrical schematics in Ford Service Manual.

dan my only guess is the pricks he took the car to saw an 82 year old man coming and sucked his ac dry, or they drained it on him, i dont know but 2 weeks ago it worked, and then its bone dry on both sides of the system after he takes it to these guys, something fishy, its fixed and working perfect now.

I'm just saying, the system can be bone dry but the car still has the ability to cool itself. My old SHO for example had no refrigerant in it, but the fan still controlled the engine temperature...

well his vcrm was bad too, thats why the fan didnt work, we put a new vcrm in the car and got the fan back as well.

Ah, then that makes sense. I thought refrigerant fixed all your problems...

no it fixed part of the problem, and would have fixed it much sooner had i been given correct info, but then again, he is 82 so its hard to get accurate info when you get that old lol!
