today i took my 97 to the shop because i had to change the iac, i wanted to pull the pass outer tie rod in 2 turns, it was slightly off from changing the inner tie rod last week and causeing bad bump steer, i detailed the whole engine bay, forgot to take pics with the camera of that lol, and then gave it a nice long over due bath. i wanted to wash the 98 too, but ran out of light and time. took a few pics of all of them in the yard! the first two pics are cell phone pics.

you see them nice new firestones on the 98 dan? kind of hard to tell which one the 98 is lol the one with the plate bracket on the front bumper. the tires ride so nice.
 
love the wheels and tips..and love black.

Its just so hard to keep clean. I get a wash and wax and couple days later back to lookin dirty.

Black window trim would look even better.
 
hey in the second pic is the white car farther ack in the backround an aurora or another white mark??? and whats the delio on the white mark??? you have a niche for some of the nicest looking black marks out there
 
god dam dude thats one hell of an eye, it is an olds and it was rolled over, the whole roof is caved in, all the glass is blown out, but it runs, it belongs to my neighbor at the shop, he has 2 of them the other one is behind that one he is gonna make 1 good one out of 2 or so he says! the white mark belongs to rich ( my great 8 ) it is a car i am putting back together, its clean and has nothing for miles but someone stole the motor, trans, and gask tank out of it so i am putting a drivetrain back in it. its got black interior in it too! when its finished, it will be for sale. it is an lsc also. and the headlights are in my shop!

you get rid of it, it doesnt bother me lol.
i need to get both cars somewhere awesome for a picture of them together so i can have a new sig picture! the double takes we get when people drive by our house, or the people who stare as they walk by with their dogs is priceless lol!
 
yeah i could do that, i have pics of my ols 98 lsc and my blue on blue 93 together from that park rich, when you come up you can have your presents too, shhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

its silver not white, it matches the intech on the alternator cover, and i did it free hand with a model brush and testors silver paint, the lettering is raised up, so i just painted it, i have done this on all 5 of my 2nd gen's
 
purple power and water mixed 50/50 in a spray bottle, spray on, let soak, reach what i can with a brush, spray bottle it off and blow dry with air hose, never use a hose.
 
Be careful not to get the purple power on the fenders. The stuff is excellent at cleaning. So good it will clean the wax right off the paint. It wont dammage the paint but you would have to rewax whatever it hits.
 
i should have said that! but then again, i spray the motor not the fenders, i always figure people have common sense! then bill posts and i remember we dont all have common sense lol!
