I need one!!!
I have been searching for a year now and never see a 97-98 drivers side one for sale in tan. If I do then they are black or grey. The one tan one I saw was cracked in the same spot as mine. The front screw hole is completly ripped out. :(

Anyone suggest someplace to find one? I try ebay and the classifieds here and we dont have any good junkyards within 100 miles so any suggestions would be appreciated.

You can always paint a different color to tan, you know.

If you knew me you wouldnt suggest that. I am great at mechanical and electrical fixes but ask me to paint something, glue something or work with wood and it will turn out like total crap.
If I painted it and followed all the steps to paint it to the letter it would still have drips and be the wrong color. Then in a couple weeks the paint will chip off. :(

good luck finding one forget having t paint one, i can pull it up for proof, 2 years ago i had a light graphite gray one from a 97 that sold on ebay for $450 bucks, i wish i was joking!

Yeah, thats retarded. I see black ones ond grey ones from time to time for under $60 shipped. Guess I will order a black one and attempt to paint it. Anyone know where to get the best matching interior paint?

Noodles... I wish I had so much as to be able to buy noodles, when I was younger.

I had to boil Shoe soles, and garnish them with A1 Steak sauce. A little chewy, but... eh. LOL

Unfortunatly I am 34 so not so young. The past two years it has been nuts how broke I have been. I moved here to Texas from Hawaii to take care of my dieing father. Left a great job and sold my condo on the beach and broke up with my fience'. Bought a large property and gave it to my family so they could get it ready to move my father out. My family screwed me out of the property but then they died off and I inherited it all back... then my father got better and stole it from me again (never trust family) AND stole my Cobra from the body shop and sold it for $12,000 (03 Termi with over $25K in reciepts). Also two years ago I was informed I was gonna die soon so had to do chemo therapy for almost a year and had to pay out of pockett.
I was also just layed off last month and the economy here sux.
So I have good reason to be broke and am now fixing all that.

Fortunatly my medical expenses have dropped significantly and I got one of my houses and property back. I have been spending all my money getting that place up to snuff as my aunt killed the place. I am moving there tomorrow and then I will have no rent/mortage payments so that helps even more. In a couple months I will be back on my feet and the real mods can begin. :D

Good God man,

I'm suprised they did'nt kick your dog while they were at it.

Well my grandmother did leave my dog outside all night by accident and something killed her. :( We only found the collar and a leg.
I left my dog with my grandmother cause its the boonies and she was alone. My dog was half Rotweiler and half Doberman so it was something large and bad ass to take her down. :(

Meh, thats only half the crap. I am still alive and have nice car so i cant complain. What dont kill ya makes ya stonger.

They are still available new from ford obsolete warehouse. the tan one is 178.00 retail and the gray one is 108.77. Your cost would be 142.10 for the tan and 81.58 for the gray.
