DDM Tuning

Man, that is cheesey. Even the cheaps HID conversion kits have dedicated harness for their ballasts. You'd think that DDM would include those in theor design

My kit from DDM has waterproof connectors. I don't know if that is just a H11 thing. Mine are 9145s because I have stock gen 1 fogs.

I bought 9145 bulbs for my gen2 fogs and they also came with little needle pins to just stick in the fog light harness.

Thanks Alax7. This seals the deal for me. I might be ordering another set of H11s from DDM. I'm actually in the same boat as the OP. I ordered mine from DDM about five days ago and it's still in 'process' mode, not too happy with this. Thinking about ordering from somewhere else but I'm a little bit concerned about color mismatch eventhough they will both be 6000K. Anyone has any thoughts on this?

if you trying to match 6000k low beams with 6000k fogs, thats what i have and they look the same to me

Follow up on DDM's Order

+1 with lincoln luebbe.
Just got my lse bumper and the bulbs that came with the fogs are NOT 9145. They were H11

Just spoke with a rep from DDM yesterday. It seems that they're having issues with customs. According to him, the shipment is at the dock awaiting final inspection before it gets to the the store for delivery. I also asked him to check on the fog lamp sizes for an 06' LS. Although his data base didn't have references to Lincoln vehicles he did mentioned that his buddy has an 06LS and he uses H11s for both headlamps and fogs. So, you are correct, Alax. I was tired of waiting for DDM to ship my H11s 6000K, so I decided to put a drop on one through e-Bay this past weekend. Got it in two days and installed it last night. One thing was puzzling me though, my headlamp units seems to be designed as sealed. I'm wondering how you guys routed the wires through the plastic access panel just behind the bulb? Did you guys have to drill holes and feed the wires

sure did, there is an access panel that you remove to change the bulb, i just drilled a hole into this panel, since the DDM kit had a big wire grommet to plug the hold it worked out great and sealed good

So, basically after all said and done, the lamp asy has to be completely sealed off. Using RTV sealant?
