Just try both cause either way you'll prob have to switch them from the polarity on the hids being reversed. A few have had that happen where it wont turn on and all they have to do is reverse the connections. I did it with my fog projectors too.
bad idea, it says in the instructions for the bulb out warning eliminators that they will/could explode if hooked up with the polarity reversed.
Didn't know that. That can't be good.Who's idea is it to switch the polarity on the kits then?
i just found it funny when the instructions said "make sure to close your hood and stand clear when testing for the first time since reverse polarity can cause an explosion."
The kits aren't reversed the car side may be. With incandecent bulbs it makes no difference so Ford does not spend any time making sure they are wired the correct way. If I knew which way they should be I can use a meter to see if the car harness is correct and reverse if need be. If not I will just plug the ballast in and see which way it works first. Had to reverse them on my Mark VIII.
That is pretty fecking funny. How in the hell could you stand anywhere near the front of the car, and turn on the headlights? You have to at least be at the driver's door to do that.
dumb question....do you guys still run the lights on auto with HID's?
i dont think you can run auto on hids
