Hey guys, whats a set of good used cobra R rims with tires worth?? Chrome cobra R's with decent chrome chrome, minor curb rash if any and the 5x4.25 lug pattern for our cars and almost new tires, khumo estas...i might be able to score a set, but not sure what used ones are worth.....thanks

You should give me the number so I can steal your koolaid and swoop in to buy the wheels out from under ya. :D

no more than 75.00 per wheel tops..

tires IMHO are of no consequence and add ZERO to the value unless they are fresh mounted brand new tires.

"used tires are like condoms"

also there is no suck thing as "minor rash" on Chrome..

ANY rash means the chrome WILL lift.

I just bought a nice "used" chrome set for $190.00 + shipping!
It all comes down to how much patience you have. I searched TCCoA, LVC, MarkVIII.org, SCCoA, Ebay, Craigslist & other wierd sites I've never even been on. Someone bit the bait I left on TCCoA. I left a "WTB 17or18 inch wheels" thread & VOILA! Good luck man!

did you paint your wheels black or powder coat them and just left a polished lip? I wonder what the 97/98 chrome directions wheels would look in black (prob not good) I kinda want black rims but not sure what to get to stay NON-GHETTO, your setup looks good

you can buy new aftermarket mustang rims on ebay for around 4-500 bucks a set. might not be oem but they aren't curbed either

I sanded, primed & painted. I love the black wheels, I have a set of 22 inch black wheels on my F-150 & it looks gorgeous, as for the Lincoln? Not bad but not my style since the stock wheels are too thin for my taste. I've already recieved the used Cobra's I bought. I'm looking forward to installing them as soon as I get the car back from it being re-upholstered.
