its the all wheel drive version, UBER rare. its chain drive up front like the old school electric RC car buggies of the 80's
 
Your LSes arent AWD too? Mine is, and it has been great in the snow every time that it has snowed here in Key West. I have never been stuck.

Interestingly, I have had a few different people including my brother ask if my LS was AWD when I bought it.

Not remotely the same chassis.

The LS is on the DEW98 chassis. This was only shared with the Ford Thunderbird and the Jaguar S-Type.
 
Most people don't even know its a Lincoln so I can see how they would think its fwd. And the ones that do know that most Lincoln's now are fwd.
