So we prepped our cars for the car show. Waxed, buffed, detailed all out....... then at 2 am when we were finnishing up the storm came. Power went out then we were hit with 50+mph winds blowing out all the stuff from my garrage and ripping trees from the ground. Threw a branch into my car port that would have dammaged my hood but since I moved my car over to fit Sapperfires under the car port the branch landed between the cars. Power was still out this morning when we left.
Then everyone else flaked except Twinbo.... something and Sapperfire. Was a good show though. Lots of honies and good food. Nice cars to look at.
Didnt win though. A Crossfire SRT6 won first and then an 84 Fiero won second.
Mind yoiu that was just our class. There were many classes there. Nice show of Fords but only one other Lincoln.
Of course the day was not without some working and failures. Mark was nice enough to point out this small issue on my car.
Then shortly after my drivers door handle broke.
Cant open that door from the outside now. Fuggin car.
Then after the show Sapperfire volenteered to change out Marks LCA since it was making noise.... only it was the sawy bar links and all tie rods making noise. So a trip out to Mexia to get some parts was in order and Mark got to ride in mine for a bit.
So we got it back together and I aligned it by eye. Car tracs perfect at all speeds.
Thats right. Im that f'ing good.
