So we prepped our cars for the car show. Waxed, buffed, detailed all out....... then at 2 am when we were finnishing up the storm came. Power went out then we were hit with 50+mph winds blowing out all the stuff from my garrage and ripping trees from the ground. Threw a branch into my car port that would have dammaged my hood but since I moved my car over to fit Sapperfires under the car port the branch landed between the cars. Power was still out this morning when we left.

Then everyone else flaked except Twinbo.... something and Sapperfire. Was a good show though. Lots of honies and good food. Nice cars to look at.

Didnt win though. A Crossfire SRT6 won first and then an 84 Fiero won second.
Mind yoiu that was just our class. There were many classes there. Nice show of Fords but only one other Lincoln.

Of course the day was not without some working and failures. Mark was nice enough to point out this small issue on my car.

Then shortly after my drivers door handle broke. :( Cant open that door from the outside now. Fuggin car.

Then after the show Sapperfire volenteered to change out Marks LCA since it was making noise.... only it was the sawy bar links and all tie rods making noise. So a trip out to Mexia to get some parts was in order and Mark got to ride in mine for a bit.

So we got it back together and I aligned it by eye. Car tracs perfect at all speeds. :D Thats right. Im that f'ing good. :p

Nice pictures, looks like a bunch of well built cars

Noone hood was open. Yeah buddy stress crack on those rotor easy to get. Time for another set. Door handle is on my to do list( I can still open my door from the outside but hurt my little finger doing it ). Also need to fix my left front side still vibrate maybe tie rod outers. Nice photo shot. Where the fiero. So when are we going to try to do a Mini LvC Meet. Since there were not a lot of no show at the Show I wanna say june

Great pictures, thanks for sharing, that was a nice show!

The picture of the yellow Dodge, you can see the red Fiero sitting on its passenger side.
Was a box stock red 84 with a 4-banger in it. It had three mods. One was the Fiero logo across the hood (front trunk), a large pair of relays wired by Ray Charles for ..... I have no idea what they were for but they were freakin huge, and it had a factory Dodge CD stereo in the dash. I asked the owner if it was a Dodge stereo and she said no, it was from a shop but when I looked closed it most definatly was a Chrysler stereo.

The SRT6 on the other hand deserved to win our class. It was flawless and very well executed mods. First time I ever saw one of them and thought I would like to have it. Very nice car.

I didnt expect to win though. My nose is chipped and the paint is 4 different shades and the seats leather is worn and the carpet has some burns in it. Car pictures well but in person its a 10 footer.

+2 pics of the fiero

you guys should drive to the meet in boscobel wi in july :)

I maybe going to IL. So why is there no more pic of the three mark viii. That crossfire would be way better with an LS3.

And removed the old inner tie rods. They appeared to be the cheap Autozone ones, no set screw or pins. Got new Moogs and new Moog sway links. Couldnt get the TRWs and his were extra shot.
I am curious what the alignment specs are as the steering wheel is straight and now pull or shimmy at any speed. Car tracked for a 1/4 mile with hands off. :)

I changed my UCA LCA End Link and alignment new tire. Mine shakes a bit I may need to change my outer tie rod and rotor/brakes and check again

what was the deal with the air intake on the srt?? it looks like its has duct(s) presumably running into the front bumper, but they are open elements filters(drawing hot under hood air). it looks cool, but not good for performance.

Nice looking rides. What class were you in? Fiero, Crossfire SRT6, and a Mark VIII in the same class. Was it a domestic mild class?

I was suppose to be showing today. Show was cancel due to rain. Reschedule fo next weekend. I will have pictures up next saturday in the LS section.

We were in the "F" class which consisted of 85-00 makes and models

Man, I'm sorry I wasn't able to be there with you guys. Other family wanted to see my son before he left back to Japan. We stopped through there, and man that place was packed.

Our class was 1981-2010 domestic cars that were not Mustangs, Camaro, Challengers, Chargers, T/A's, Corvetts, Vipers or Muscle Cars.
