So, I've had my `06 LS for about a week now and I'm in love. I've been making a list of mods that I'm wanting to do and I've already got some slotted/drilled rotors and new pads on the way. I figured while I've got the car up, I might as well paint the calipers as well. So, I'm going back and forth on which color to choose. My car is the Cashmere Tri-Coat (Code G4) with stock silver rims. I'm looking into some Jag wheels but that is a good 12 months away.
Initially I figured you can't go wrong with the typical Brembo style red calipers. However, the more I thought about it, I wonder if a burnt copper might look better? (I saw it on a different thread on this forum). Or, what about if I color-matched the car paint? My concern with that is that it would be too bland.
I've attached a couple shots of the car as she sits now. To this point, the only thing I've done to her is tint the windows (and the typical mechanical stuff like oil change, air filter, cabin filter, plugs, all 8 coils, new tires, etc.).
Thanks in advance for the opinions.
