Bullet keep talking trash, but won't race me

My coworker's buddy has a newer bullet, and he thinks my car is to heavy but wants a 30 roll. I know I can take him he has a cold air intake and it is a 5 speed but he won't race me..... Should I take the race to him? He wants to wait intell he gets headers and a tune
 
j-mod track lock x pipe k&n. if you can call them mods. this kid thinks his stock bullet runs 10s in the 1/4. and he can not do a dig?????
 
Wow trac-Loc and no gears ?? Sorry sounds doubtful. Good luck though. Maybe some small dia sticky tires on like some 15" T-Bird wheels would help gear it down some ?? Wouldn"t help its looks though.
 
I can't say I've ever heard of a Bullet unless it's coming out of the end of a gun. Perhaps you mean a Mustang Bullit? Answer is no. Stock Mark VIIIs of any year don't run 13s stock like the Bullit would. From a roll, from a dig, it doesn't matter.

Don't waste your time. The Bullitt will trash the Mark, even if the guy isn't an experienced driver. They're just that much faster than a Mark. Unfortunate, but true. With your mods, there's no way in heck you can keep up with a Bullitt Mustang. And don't talk any junk to the guy. You may actually have to make good on your offer to race him and you'll get embarassed when his car walks away from you.
 
not to sound like a dick..but these kind of posts about "should i race this guy with a blah blah whatever car" are :q:q:q:qin retarded

you want to know who will win?..just race the :q:q:q:qin guy and call it a day.

I hava to admit... These threads are like an insurance on a race. If it's for fun? Go ahead. If you don't want him talking smack if he tears you a new one, don't race him. The other day I got my @ss handed to me on the expressway on my 93 by a guy in a V8 LS. Never even had the chance to catch up to him to ask wtf was under his hood. Granted, we were going 60 on the highway & we both floored it. The guy tore me a new one so badly that I wanted to hide my car in a parking garage for months, lol. :D
 
He will walk you if he can drive at all but your best chance is to do a 1st or 2nd gear roll where your rpm is around 4000 when you make the hit. I've seen a stock 01 Bullit trap as low as 97mph at the track so it's possible if he's not a good stick shift driver you can beat him.
 
all you have to do is leave the same time he does. everytime. go same way, everytime. he'll either do it or hide, then take pictures of him as you go by for proof!
