Jamie, I got your PM. Thanks. You really didn't have to do that, but I do appreciate it. I think maybe we both caught each other having bad days and clashed. That, coupled with the impersonal nature of the internet just didn't mix well.
Thanks again, and I'll definitely be trying out your method this weekend.

Humor, wit and saricasm usually do poorly over the phone or the internet. The way it is interpreted is very dependant on the mood the reciever is in at the time.
A mistake I have often made and try not to repeat.:)

Jamie, I've read every post since you started gettin' a bit hairy.

And man, I have these days. People don't understand where I crawl out of and just think I'm a dick. It happens, no biggie.

We all share information on here. We all support each other, that's why we all keep logging in. You sell parts, people appreciate that. They're your customers, you appreciate that. Yes, sometimes people will bug you with questions, calls, pm's, texts.. and some seem ungrateful. It's the hobby man, they care about their car, and alot of people take the resources of this board for granted at times. It just happens. It's not personal. But I understand that you can feel that it is. I know I appreciate you offering parts. You do it well, and you're reasonable about it. As far as I'd be concerned, this is all in the wind.. just let it go. Nobody's gonna hold it against you any more than they think people should give you some space and respect what you do.

Thanks for being around to offer me parts Jamie.

thanks man it was a combination of me being pissed off at work, things backing up at the shop, lack of money, waiting for my IRS check because my buddy screwed things up with my filing, a whole bunch of things, i sent him the directions anyway even after i blew up, he should be all set now and i'll forget about the whole thing now!

ok I removed the center console a couple minutes ago, and decided to call it a day, and fire up the tv and watch the movie 2012, and have a few beers. Back at it in the am. :)

Progress! I would've gave you a couple tips.. but it took me about 6 or 7 hours to do mine so I really don't think I can help you with anything lol.

All I can say is, awesome instructions, Jamie! :) The job took like 4 hours total, going really super slow, and was not bad at all. I know it could be done in a couple hours the next time around. I highly advise taking the message center display out to get at the top left screw, having a deep well 15mm socket, and those handy dandy gear wrenches nearby. One of those small motorized screw driver's that can adapt to accept sockets will help too. :)

The blend door actuator that broke had the slip on style black arm that cracked, and the one put in the car had the one permanently attached to the motor. I did the reinforcement mod on the new blend door motor, so if anything, I hope the grey arm is now the weak link.

I want to thank my buddies Jamie and Cal. They both helped me with expert experience and instruction, and also to Cal for spending his Saturday morning wrenching on The Mark with me. You guys inspired me to take on this project, and I appreciate your involvement! Without you two guy's in my corner, this project could have turned ugly very quick. :)

hey glad to help mike. now you know whats involved and you saved yourself a whole buttload of cash!!
