I have a nephew that is a big boy and I have had him in my ride a couple of times. But he barely fits in the car.His head is almost popping the sunroof window out and his knees are smashed on the dash.

I put my wheelchair in the back seat right behind the passenger seat and he does have a little room ro lean it back so his head is just behind the sunroof and the seat is all the way back and down.

I was just wondering what the bigger guys here do to fit better?

I was thinking about bolting the chair back a bit more but I need that extra space for my chair.

He is a big boy at 6'3 or 6'4 and is clocking close to 400lbs.

I would like to try to get his knees off the dash so he can fit a little better.

I'm 6'2 320 and fit fine in my 97. My 94 actually had seat anchor studs drilled behind the stock ones and the seat was moved back several inches. My guess it was done early on for a very large driver.

im 300 plus and 6' 2" and im very comfortable i was up to almost 370 and still had room although the seat belts were getting very tight then to put on.

Let him drive. There is more room on the drivers side.

not an option for me its my only addiction ,well that and mark viiis

I don't think height is an issue here. He's just really big. He prob feels the same way in a mark that I do when in a integra/civic ect. Those seats are small and the side bolsters really hug you even if you have a normal body frame.

Anyways, I'm 6'3" 275 and i'm very comfy in mine.

There is a stop pin in the seat rack you can relocate.
I'll look for it and see if it would help any. Thanks Driller.

I have him test it out and see if he would fit better. He doesn't have his license so a teat fit would be the next best thing.
Skip a few meals?
Not really an option with that boy.Even if he did he is just a natuarlly big kid.

He shoved himself in my sisters VW Bug once.I thought we were going to need the jaws of life to get him out of it.That was some funny sh!t right there.

My brother who was about your size drove a Toyota MR2 for awhile and I am still amazed that he fit.I think the bigger problem with my nephew is that his legs are the size of logs.My brothers legs were not as big.

Sounds like he's the size of "big Mike" and "trippin" and afaik there comfy in there marks.

Take the back seat out, lay some carpet down and move
your wheel chair up there so he can move the seat all the way back

Scott, remember the Seat relocation on our 94 Mark VIII. Owner before me had put in new studs for the seat track.

I'm 5'7" and 140 lbs. I have no problem fitting into a miata, I just prefer Luxocoupes...lol

6 ft 5 in anywhere from 280 to 310 depending on how full of sh!t i am. and i fit just fine.

Here is a guy who could fit in the locker as a teenager...LOL!

How do you fit sitting in the paasenger seat?

IDK never sat there, no one else drives my car. my best friend is 6 ft 4 and about 240. I have yelled at him twice about resting his foot on the dash. I had a friend who was about 6 1 and 240 we traveled all over the country for about a year. when we parted ways he said " i am going to miss my lazy boy and dvds." he said when we weren't going over 100 it was one of the most comfortable cars he ever traveled in. I put over 25,000 mi on my car last year.

Im 6' 6", 385 lbs and i would definitely appreciate the seat moving back a few more inches. The best was when i owned a 94 cavalier...i looked like 10lbs of bologna in a 5lb bag. My drivers side window was broke and wouldnt roll down, so i would just reach over and roll down the passenger window and extend my arm to ash out the window when i smoked in it haha.

If u and ur nephew live near the chicagoland area, Ill meet up with u two, and ur nephew and I can go test drive a smart car together HAHA

Well...I've seen a 6ft-400+ guy fit in both seats in a Mark with no complaints. I'm 6'2-190 and I know now that Miatas are for Steward Little

6ft tall, 290lbs! I fit perfect & comfortably! However... Dude, in all sincerity? Fvck the car!!! Tell your nephew to loose some weight!!! That sh!t is bad for all his organs including his heart! At 290 I already have high blood pressure! He's committing slow suicide! At 400lbs I'm sure he has a hard time getting into ANY car, not just the Mark. My wife is a barriatrics nurse, she deals with obese ppl everyday. It's scary! She deals with ppl that are 400lbs - 1000lbs!
