As they do from '03 and even some '02s.
What else?
They are all guaranteed to have the LSE body style minus the rear wing and the sport package.
All '03+ V8s have the sport package.
I keep seeing comments about the timing parts, but the service parts books keep showing the same parts '02 to '06.
As in the other thread, the secondary hydraulic tensioners were changed to the metal bodied type late '02 / Gen2, and possibly the primary hydraulic tensioners as well. Also with the Gen 2 (possible late '02) the primary chains and sprockets were changed from the roller style (same as secondaries) to a stronger silent link style.
Understand about the appearance items from one person to another.
Maybe I just don't know enough about these cars yet but your pics up there, it says option A is a sport... But it has a chrome grill. And option B is NOT listed as sport... But has a silver grill. Did you get that backwards?
But either way, get the 06.I paid $12,000 for mine last April so you may find a better deal but get an 06 if you can.
Guys, within the Gen2 why are you so focused on the '06 over the other years?
well for starters, it seems like everybody is always wanting to switch their bumpers out for LSE front ends, since LSE are always pretty rare to find, its far more easy to buy the 06 where they all have that front end. Not everyone.
its as close to a new car as you will ever get with an LS. Time wise, but a client of my wife has an '03 Premium Sport with under 35k that spends it's idle time in the heated garage and has never seen snow. Lincoln dealer does all maintenance
the newer the LS the fewer problems they seem to have. They will catch up.
the older the LS, the more problems they seem to have. See above.
and finally, all 06's are V8's. Query only V8s.
your right, there are always a few oddballs in every groupNot everyone.
and if they had owned the car three less years it would still be a newer nicer car wouldn't it.Time wise, but a client of my wife has an '03 Premium Sport with under 35k that spends it's idle time in the heated garage and has never seen snow. Lincoln dealer does all maintenance
except for the coil revisions, valve cover gasket revisions, and throttle body revisions, any and all other revisions that actually make it more reliable of a car. They will catch up.
