Anyone know what this is?

Found right at the back of the trunk, up against the rear seat back.

Don't know if its even mark 8 related, but I found it in one!

On it, it says WALBRO, Japan.

The black bit is the remains of a rubber pipe that has been cut. Felt bottom half, with 2 metal strips on opposite sides that don't appear to move.

Any suggestions gratefully received. Call it a christmas quiz!!

Found out its a fuel filter for a petrol hedgetrimmer/strimmer etc. Suitable for engines up to 33cc.
May try it on my mark 8. May just flow enough fuel

that is exactly what they are, they have gotten expensive. i only have 8 left. if you haven't replaced your plutonium filter on your flux capacitor, you dont know what you are missing (instant 50 hp). and it is an ed hall move. by not replacing it you will destroy the flux inside the capacitor defibrillator valve and will use blinker fluid 2x faster. we all know how much blinker fluid is getting these days.

okay heres my unknown stuff. i think one, possible the other item may be a mark park. the first one was found in the passenger back seat footwell, the second found between the dash and windshield, kinda under the a pillar, any guesses?
