Seriously though, I know how her husband must feel but I remember that sound just before the initial blast with mine but I know what caused it. On the one she was driving, it almost sounds like he may have left a can of something under the hood and it couldn't take the heat.
Yes Laser, do carry one with you because you never know. I keep one in the spare tire area, just in case. If GMAN would have had one, he could have saved his car that day. In my case, I don't know but I doubt it because I blew one wall 8" off the foundation. I never want to re-live that again.
All of you on here need to have an extinguisher in your car because sh!t happens.

I threw one in my trunk the day I saw Gmans thread, even tho my CC recall has been done (yes I actually stood there and watched the guy install it) I still worry about stuff like that, worries me even more that my ol lady drives it all the time, she wouldn't be able to get the hood open in an emergency
