Acquiring a Sponsor?

You gotta get decals slapped on. Something that can degrade the LS.

Here is a pic of my comp vehicle for car audio.

More stickers = more $$$ saved :D

THa'ts what my shop is offering the "decals" sponsorship but they told me to give them my "demands" as far as what I want from them. As for the exterior I wanted to do something a bit different instead of dropping 800+ on a Gen II LSE bumper then paint it I was gonna fabricate and mold from a basic Gen 1 bumper something that looks nice, attractive, and without that damn gap.

Yes a paintjob would be nice...my car wil be somewhat 2 toned with the side mirrors being black, the roof being black and a streek of black from the headlights to the Wings West 3piece spoiler I was thinking of doing and have that spoiler black then have the rear surround color matched to the LS

so much I wanna do :P I'm getting my rotors, SS brake lines, and calipers painted. I got a guy wanting to buy my AK47 for 2grand so if he buys it I'll be getting an extra pair of headlights to have to modify with the Demon Eyes and eyelids (black gloss instead of CF I decided)

this is all hypothesis but at least it's getting some stuff done.

hey pete nice LS!...were almost twins :D haha... yeamann...you gotta come with something to attract attention...nothing stupid but tasteful...i would agree with whoever else said some new wheels....i couldnt believe the difference they made with my car  (and yea, only included a pic so u could see what i mean - since we almost have the same car n all)

well I did seem interested in these wheels:

We'll see cause since winter is rollin around that it would be pointless to get wheels already and during winter the allseason/summwer tires go forpretty good prices as do the winter tires in summer.

It's all time a patience...I'm not gonna throw all my eggs into one basket but it's getting closer and closer. I just had to make sure and acquire information before I get into this sorta thing. And I agree on the sizing decal....don't want a big Grenade on my windshield :P

Those Stern's are nice. I was looking at a set of 19"s similar to those, however I think I'll run into rubbing problems because I could only find them in 38+ offset.

ya that's why i'm gonna see what my shop will say about the offset...i believe the 18s by 8.5s would still look nice :P

haha...fair enough... i got some goodies on the inside, but nothing performance wise... ive decided that to try and make the LS faster is a waste of time...i guess ill just have to wait to get another car before i can "go fast"...

...and i like your wheel choices, i dont believe ive ever seen the ones in the bigger picture...the simple design will probably manke them appear "bigger" which is always nice - my 20's are 20x8.5 with a 38mm offset, and yea, they rub slightly when in the back if i have 2 people back there and hit a few bumps [the subs and amps dont help either]...but its minimal, and only the tops of the tires rub on the plastic wheelwell... just to give u an idea on the offset...i think ive read that 40+mm is the magic number for "no-rub" but dont quote me on that...:D

oh that's why. you got 20s with a 38mm cause I assumed the 18s would be already and maybe 19s. I just don't wanna go 19s and sacrifice the ride/performance (what little the LS has)

I know most car shows want "bigger is better" but to me size should only go as far as drivability...I don't want 26s rollin me to work.

...touché my friend lol...i understand completely. I love my 20's :D. call me crazy but i like the ride better than the stock 17's [its more firm and responsive with the 20's - if that makes any sense]...and because the LS is a 3700lb turd, the ride quality doesnt suffer much at all...if it didnt get so sihitty up here for the winter id leave 'em on all year round.

...however, heavy as a mother*ucker they are... your not going anywhere fast with them on  ...so for you "performance guys", they are probably not a good idea

...and yea 26"s haha...put them on and cut half the fender off like that numb-nut on cardomain did.... i hope he dosent plan on making a tun anytime soon

indeed 19s are the largest I go but 18s have the cheaper variety of tires too. Plus the larger picture I posted of them wheels are only 530+ for the set..not bad for lookin sharp....

well I wasn't gonna order them til winter blows over but maybe I'll get them once this get gives me 2000 for my AK47. then get some pretty good wheels...just means my Autosocks won't work for me in winter :P

ya well we'll see either I'll get the wheels/tires or I can do the Demon Eyes, what would you prefer?

personally, i did everything else before i put the wheels on. Now granted, i dont have that much done...changed the grille, did the tint and system, and had the alarm installed. The thought process was, the wheels are going to make the biggest change in the outside appearance - might as well do them last.

...ive seen the deamon eyes/angel eyes whatever you wanna call them in person on an LS, and personally they didnt make that big of an impression on me... they r nice, dont get me wrong - but its comparable to having a different grille...it adds something, but dont expect people to stop and stare any time soon lol...its all up to you...but you would catch my attention with the wheels first...

...unfortunately thats the way it goes... but like i said, if your going to be content to wait for the possibility of acquiring sponsors...do everything else first, the wheels will be a nice finishing touch - thats my opinion anyway... just dont be surprised if people have some smart*ss comments in the meantime lol

haha yeah and the paint needs to be retouched anyways, got some sundamage so plenty of exterior things are important. Plus the wheels work, why fix what isn't broken?
