460 N/A HP 298 stroker

I have been reading about them in magazines and on other forums and have not read a bad thing about them yet.

Now only if I can find a way to get that engine for Christmas (Next year).

A nice V7 Vortech or F-1 Procharger would sure be killer that is for sure.

Hell yeah I am thinking big. :D

For a NA engine like that I would def want a manual trans in the car. All the engines I built were forced induction but also were 5.4 too.

OMG!!! DAMN, why do all great things cost so much?
Ya know you can get very close with their budget stroker kit with your B heads and a Cobra plenum. Prolly 420ish. Kits $1800 and can find plenums for under $300. Then just need the machine work done.

Yea, I read the whole thread. Just a thought and a suggestion that popped into my head, since I came across that thread. Yes, port matching and a new 5.0 intake would be required, not to mention welding of aluminum pieces. Maybe it would be cheaper then some options, then again I am not sure. Would be a nice alternative though.

I would be happy with 420 horses. But would the Bheads make as much torque as the C heads?
how about a 5.4 out of a navigator, has anyone done that in a mark8 yet?
If it were possible to find a 5.4 aluminum block out of a GT500 on the cheap I would do it.
Maybe just swapping to 5.4 heads? This thread makes me want to....

I like what the guy is doing there and can't wait to see what kind of numbers he would get out of it.

If 467 hp/425 tq isn't enough for you how about 519 hp and 471 tq?

Livernois big bore 323 stroker with ported C heads and ported Mach 1 intake. :burnout:

EDIT: I did change my username if some of you don't recognize the new name.

I would much rather start with the 94 mm big bore bock than a stroker. Or like mentioned both like Driller. Hope he get his to its full potential before long. But yes I believe a blower is a cheaper way to go.

Forced induction is always cheaper. But when you want 100% power when you put your foot down, N/A is the thing to go!
And there's nothing more awesome than an N/A smallblock with serious horsepower! :)
