It's a go-cart.... that's all it is...

LOL...

OK... It's 2007 which puts us in the same year as the July Beach Party...

Time to get the surfboards out and think about the warm sun cool waves, hot rods and cruising the streets looking to pick up hot women..

I have a new Brain Fart for another Activity but in order to participate you need to get here sooner... or we could do it on Sunday after Brakefast...

How about and old 60's style cruise in a bit larger City... do the malt shop thing and spend the night going up and down the strip.

It's a possible Prairie Du Chien thing that we could do. The Boscobel Main Street isn't big enough. Prairie whas a buch of drivin style places and a 2 really good streets to cruise... Would be fun. Oh but Brent has to play the roll of Richie Cunningham.

So if anyone want to do a Thursday Night Cruise night for the Beach Party. Arrive a day early mid day or so take the 30 min drive to Prairie and have some fun. There's a great park along the Mississippi River where I love to was my car. I'll go get some pics and post this possible activity.

LOL... I can just imagine 50 Marks doing a u-turns the Wal-Mart parking lot.....

Hey, Prairie Du Chien has is a great place to cruise. Their is about a 3 mile long 4 lane strip with hamburger joints, gas stations, and others places. Starts at a Wal-Mart and ends at a Cabela's.

Then there is Main street that is about 1 mile long that goes down to a great park that where we could line the Mississippi with the cars. Right across is a Burger, Ice Cream and Beer joint. We could have a blast...and I'm sure as long as we don't do too much. Prairie has some great places to do the malt shop thing. Across the river (5 miles) is a casino boat..

I'm just adding more activity for the time. This would be a Thrusday even for anyone who really wants to make this a fun event.

Prairie Du Chien is only 30 miles from Boscobel an Hwy 60 and very beautiful drive and only take 30 min. to get there. No traffic City folk.

And if you LOVE sport driving, back roads baby!!!! :) I love driving down around there!! PD is a great place to cruise the strip, 4 lanes too! This is gonna be fun. I'll have to stop by my favorite place for dinner, the Twisted Chicken in McGregor (across the river). I better go install those sway bars now.....

Hwy 60 from Boscobel to Prairie is just a great ride. Nice curves great scenery. I love washing my car at the Quick Lube and then go down to the river to detail. Prairie has been working real hard to improve it's down town and parks. For those who can make this it will be a great time.

If it's only 2 to 5 of us who can make this part of the meet it will be worth it.

I have bad news Pepps, I'm probably not going to be making a Thrusday run to Chicago for a pick up. We'll have to find some other LvC members who are coming to bring pick you up at the Airport.

Sounds good to me Rich.

I'm just trying to put in another inexpensive fun activity that we can do and play with our cars.

And I hope everyone understands that this nobody is obligated to do all the events. I know some can't get out of work for the length of time. But some members have asked me if we could find more to do as they really like the area. Well to do more we need more days so I'm putting in the Thursday activity. Everything else is still scheduled as is. Friday greet and meet at my house on the porch. With activities to follow.

Saturdays as listed. Any who stays longer on Sunday we could even do more. I have more ideas.

I am prepared for a full week of things if anyone wants to come on Monday and go through Sunday. All are welcome.

I have plenty of room for camping in my back yard to help save on the cost of this meet.

That's right Dereck.... Debi may turn east out of Columbus and get to Wisconsin through California... We try to find someone to ride with her so she gets to the right state. You might have to watch to see if she passes you while on the way.

Are we gonna have any workshops? I know I continually bother you Hotties with crazy questions and need all kinds of answers for other issues also, Mostly cause I'm not to scared to ask, but what is the best about LVC is no one is reluctant to give instruction, directions, a hand, two cents or at least some good old common sense advice. ;).

SMOOCHES and looking forward to seeing you all soon!!!

I should have a mark VIII engine swap done in my t-bird by that time if not I'll ask my brother if we can take both his mark VIIIs.He's got a black supercharged 98 LSC and white 98 LSC CE.

It's possible to get do a mod day but mostly when would be the question. Depends on who long we stretch this thing out. I do have places were we could work on our cars. One place I'm working on has a lift. But this would be another day of activity.

It would all depend upon interest. Like I said I have nothing against having this last a full week. Everyone welcome to come for the events or duration that they would be able to make, whether it be 7 days or only 1 day. I have no problems filling each day with something to do.

It would be sweet to see that SC - Mark VIII that's been posting those great numbers... and been the start in the videos.

Everyone needs to remember that if they need motel rooms they have to call early. The weekends book up very fast around here. I'll be calling the Fennimore Hills soon to make sure they save at least 10 rooms there.

I want to make this meet fun. There are plenty of things to do for wifes. This area is full of hobby shops and antiques, plus just a little to the north is a huge Amish community with plenty of Amish crafts. There are things for the kids to do also. This doesn't have to be just a gear head meet. I'm sure Jason's wife would love to spend a lot of Jason's mods cash on some good antiques.

There are also some great family places for camping like Jellystone, Wyalusing State Park, Governor Dodge State Park, Black Hawk Lake, Eagle Cave, Laughing Lama Farm, plus my back yard which is free... We also have some nice Bed and Breakfast places in the area.

Do a little Internet research then just let me know where you would like to stay and I'll make arrangements.

Carlsile will be a great time for all but I will make sure that you will have so much fun hear at the Beach Party that you'll forget about Carlsile.

Last year we had 20 members make this a great event. Like any first time event they start out small. My goal this year is for 100 LvC members. In I hope at least 1 person with an LS... I'm calling you LS members out... I bet we have more Mark VIII's in attendance that LS's. I bet I'll personally have more Mark VIII's in attendance that LS's.
