I have been looking at a 1999 Mark V111, Price approx $9,000 85,000 miles, good to great shape, paint is good, tires with tread, looks like the second set. Is $9,000 to much to pay.
 
Depends.... That is a rare mark viii i never have seen a 99 before. Got pics?

You can pick up a VERY nice shape 98 for less than 9G's. 4 years ago I bought a 98 for 6500 that was in decent to very good shape.

ok... if its a 99 .. chances are youre looking at a 97 or 98 and it was just a type-o..

double check the vin/info

if it really is a 99.. buy it fast.. its the only one and you could easily sell it on here for way more than $9k
 
Most likely you are looking at a Gen 2 97-98. In my opinion that asking price is way to high. Here in IL he wouldnt be able to get $5k for it.
 
The only way I would pay $9,000 for a Gen 2 with 85k is if it was in perfect condition in the exact color combo I wanted with the exact options I wanted....

I payed less that half that for my 98 Collectors Edition with 97k.... not in perfect condition though, but not in bad shape.
 
just to give you even more of an idea of the avg price of a gen 2. i got mine for $1900.00 cash and mine is navy met blue. there are some deals out there i'm in detroit, and i saw a blk lsc for about $3.5k.

I paid $13,800 for my 98.....

......in early 2004

But I paid $900 for my 97 last February.
