Life has been interesting lately.

Between work, home, and life in general I've had quite a few changes take place over the last year.

This is my reason for posting. The current MarkVIII project is gearing up pretty quick.

Fully Forged, built 4r75w, full Mandrel stainless exhaust, etc etc etc.

Procharger F1A, 18% overdrive, 3.4 pulley, 74,000 rpm impeller speed. Custom hand fitted, and TIG welded intercooler piping, custom hand fitted and orbital welded stainless furl supply and return lines.

This is just the beginning of the mod process, but is gonna turn out awesome. This is gonna be a very..... Very... Serious car.

So anyway. I've been swamped lately, but an update none the less.

Nice job Mike, I know first hand you run out of room pretty quick with all the piping.
Did you go with larger pulleys on all the accessories?

I thought your post was going to say you run out of money pretty quick.....
Looks awesome Mike its going to be a very angry car.

Looks awesome, I am toying with twin turbos on my car. If I can find two Garrets off a couple of turbo coupes cheap enough I will do it. Nothing like the feel of boost.

No on the larger pulleys.

Yet anyway.

There is a long way to go yet. Just recently we found the surge tank/pump setup were going to use. Now I've got to get the tubing and all the fittings ordered for the fuel system.

I'm aiming for it to be driving late spring Brent.

The intercooler tubing is officially complete and ready for powdercoat. The BOV Tee, and flange got welded on today.

Mike, I must have missed something somewhere along the way. Which car is this going in? From the last pics it looks like lsc8's car. Definitely looks like it will be a very fun car to drive.

Good eyes......there are only so many two tone marks.

It is LSC8's old car, I had an extra bay to work on it, so I decided to take it over to get it finished.

I'm going about this the hard way, and not cutting corners for realitively simple stuff. Case in point, the fuel lines.

I am hand fabricating them out of 316L .049 wall Stainless tubing. I don't have benders capable of bending bigger than 1/2" DIA tube so I'm running dual feedlines out of the Surge tank up to the engine bay. Doesnt look like I've gotten much done, but between the Black interior swap, these fuel lines and working under the engine bay, I've stayed busy.

Looking fast. Definitely tuned in. I'm trying to get my fuel system figured out as well.

Got a considerable amount of stuff done on this car since the last update.

Remote mount IAC in place, A-N bungs welded to the intake and intercooler piping for the IAC bypass, Solid motor mounts installed, new sway bar to clear the overdrive pulley, Radium Surge tank installed, hard fuel lines installed, Etc etc etc.

I also was unhappy with my original transitioning intake elbow at the throttle body so I hand hammered a new one out of 18 gauge sheet steel, (looks much better) . I also had to redo a considerable amount of the intercooler piping to make up for needing to re-clock the supercharger volute so it would clear the upper radiator hose.

It's getting very close.

ID1000 injectors, 3 fuel pumps, and all the hose and fittings are what's left to get really.

I'll have the suction side of the SC done soon too.

Looks awesome Mike, the new elbow looks much cleaner. Love how tight it fits to the valve cover.

Spent sometime out in the shop today.

GOt the bigger meth injection jets installed, and began installing all of the piping. The belt is also installed (which was a real joy to try and find BTW.)

Yea, (only 4 months late.)

Does'nt look like much has been done, but the fuel system is finished and wired.

The engine bay is ready to button back up. Meth lines and jets have been relocated further away from the engine to allow better atomization.

I'm hoping for 3 weeks left for finish and dynotime.

Mike.
