18: saleen replics

:confused: whats going on LVc as you all know. Im looking to finally get my 97 mark viii in order.Im looking for a set of saleen wheels with or with out tires in good condition can anyone help me out. i see there are a few on here with the rims/tires already. I want to know wheres a good place to buy a set or even 2 pair at a time? bill (lasersvt)has a set damn and now I want a set HELP :confused:
 
Yup get em from Brad. I love mine but apparently both my front ones are not quite true so I will have to get a second pair from Brad now anyway. :(
Causes a vibration at 52-61MPH in the steering. Its minor but its there and the tire shop was the place that pointed it out to me when I first got them.

Laser, maybe it's just me but don't you find it odd that it's only your front 2 that aren't true? What if one of them were to have been placed on the front drivers side and one on the rear passengers side, would they have noticed that or do you really believe it's both front rims? I'm not saying they aren't true but it just seems a little odd that it's only the front two and neither of the rear ones. It could have something to do with the size change and something in the front end that you have replaced lately. Just an idea but I know how it is, we all know our own cars better than anyone else does.
 
Yup, they did all four together and the rears were just fine but with the fronts you could see the wheel wobble a mm +/- on the machine. Prolly from hitting a driveway curb too hard or a big expansion joint or something. I only had put 45 miles on them before I brought it in and I know I didnt hit anything so not really sure. I dont think the previous owner even knew cause it really is a small ammount. I may rotate them to rear and see if that helps.
 
i also want to know if these are still avail because when i get my tax check i want 4 of them, saleen's in 18's.
 
As much as I always wanted my Octi's, I might even get a set. I'll still keep my rims / tires though, just in case I don't like them. Problem with them to me is that they show so much of the rotor and that will mean that I'll need to go for the brakes and rotors and calipers next.

Just another addiction I for see....

And thus a large reason I just ordered my CObra brake kit. :lol:

You could just paint the calipers & go drilled & slotted. For the money spent it looks great.
