General Description
My Mark VIII is black on black 94 model. As of Oct 3, 2007 it has 173,000 miles and running strong. Interior is nearly excellent. Tinted windows @ 15% with 2 new window motors. New headlight housings. It has an aftermarket stereo installed myself which consist of the following:
New Kenwood eXcelon KDC-X789 Head Unit, Replaced From A KDC-X959 Older eXcelon.
1 set of JL Audio Evolution XR570-CXI 5X7's
1 set of Kicker DS68 6X8's in the rear.
3-10 inch JL Audio 10-W0's (2009 series) in an enclosure designed with JL Audio specifications with a 14 1/2 inch vented slot port.
Sub amp is a Kicker Impulse 2252xi bridged with one in series and two in parallel.
Amp for the 5X7's/6X8's is Kicker Impulse 654xi 4 channel.
2007,New set of BF Goodrich Touring Tires (Pro Series). Less than 700 miles on them at this time. Now about 10,000 as of 9/2009
New TPS installed on 03/12/08
May 2009 10,000K HID Brilliant Blue HID's installed.
New IAC installed on 08/05/09
This car has been garage kept since the day I bought it with 164,000 in April of 2005
Now as of Nov 2008, it has 177,000 miles cause I started working again.
Octistars added in 2008 that came off a 97 Mark. Mint rims. They replaced the ugly snowflakes.
Complete repaint of rear bumper cover and roof in Oct, 2009 and also LSC moldings were added.
Nov 27th, 2009 the car now has right at 183,000 miles. I haven't even put 20K on it since 4/2005
