Just wanted to post a positive with this car. I use this car exclusively for travel/business trips. After 150,000 miles this car still gets 25 MPG on the highway...what more can anyone ask for?

Wow, can't believe I missed this.

02 V8 with 125K (about 95K highway) and finally needing at least one coil replaced. Other than that,this car has been great. Oil changes every 3k, Transmission flush at 90K and that is it! I think I need to replace my sway bar bushings.

Hey one more thing guys...I forgot to mention that it misses at idle sometimes too. I was told today that it's more likely to be the EGR since I don't have a CEL or a code. What do you think? Thanks for all the help.

If it's only 1 coil, is it recommended to change them all while I things apart or is just one at a time ok?

I tried it in 4th and it wouldn't do it. Well it has 125K and I've never had anything go wrong so I might as well get them done. Sent you a PM.

Thanks...no it's a 2002 and yes a V8. I just had the plugs changed a couple of months ago. Maybe I'll try to change these myself if it's easy.

Yea it's a V8. I'll drive it in 4th...what if it doesn't do it in 4th? I hear the coils are a pain to change.

Even when I floor it there is no hesitation. Is it a chance the PCV or the EGR is bad? Who do you recommend I let look at it other than the dealer?

I've read many of the misfire posts but can't decide if my issue is the same. I don't have any codes, the CEL has never been on and my MPG is still the same, however, at part throttle the car has a hesitation around 50 MPH. If I accelerate normally it doesn't hesitate at all, just at part...

I just had the exact problem (#1) and it was the wheel sensor. I believe the entire hub assembly has to be replaced...dealer replaced mine under extended warranty. Good luck at Ft. Bragg...I'm stationed at Scott AFB, IL.

I did mine over a year ago using the VHT Nightshade and clear coated them. So far they seem to be holding up just fine. It was time consuming with the sanding between coats but still came out pretty good for an amateur.

You're right...I finally looked at some of the comparisons and they suck. I told the dealer not to order me a new so instead he's getting me the Beltronics BEL RX65.
