I figured it out looked at the pcm relay didnt show signs of corrosion but sprayed and cleaned anyways put new relay in (which the old one was okay) went to start didnt start tried again and she fired right up. No issues since doing so. So I went one step farther went thru the whole car pulled...
Okay found the thread about topic above. So I went out and pulled #14 relay which I did earlier with no luck after swapping it for another. But I went out again and examined the area didnt see any corrosion but I decided to spray some compressed air just to try anything swapped relays again...
So out of the blue car wont start looked for the light on the dash no light on pulled codes got the p1000 and p1260 code. Went and disconnected battery for a hour no luck checked grounds checked all fuses. Then I started reading still couldnt figure it out. The light on the dash started flashing...
Sorry been busy I've had 0 issues with bottle working like a champ. As for the sight glass looks pretty good. As for fluid capacity it seems to be very close or spot on fluid capacity.
Thanks Joegr thought about that after my statement. They include a "updated cap with this bottle. And I am glad to see you here after all these years you have helped me thru a ton of crap.
This wasnt supposed to be a point out the obvious (that it doesnt have a glass piece) I wish it did but it doesnt. It was supposed to be to show there is options if you cant afford the motorcraft bottle and or have constant dorman failures. Just trying to give the forum a few month tested option...
Well I check it on the regular in the mornings and I dont have the means to make the glass modifications. Also if my lincoln developes a leak the car will let me know. As I'm sure any ls owners already know that has had any coolant leaks.
I took the plunge and bought the Ebay bottle and I had to bend alittle of the flair where the 10mm bolt goes at the top of the factory bottle to fit and had to self tap the other 10mm it was tight between the brake booster but it's in and I have had 0 issues.
