camshaft position sensor location on 2006? (p0345)

Well Joe, you may be right that is a wiring issue. I replaced it and it is still exhibiting the same issue. I tested the circuit with a volt meter on A/C and the drivers side is getting no current when cranking, while the passenger side is. I have checked the wiring on the engine harness and...

camshaft position sensor location on 2006? (p0345)

I received a P0345 today on my 2006 LS-V8 and it is telling me to check the camshaft position sensor on bank 2? I cant seem to find any info on the location of this sensor for the 2nd gen v8s. car barely starts and drives like total crap. Feels like a misfire x10000 Anyone have any advice on...

For Sale BNIB Spectra fuel sender/pump assy for LS

Bought this for my 2006 and it said it fit but it is not the right style plug and the hose connection point on the top is not correct for 2006. this one is at a 90* angle and 2006 is straight up. (90* angled connectors are on all 2005- cars) and on the 2006 it is straight up, therefore this one...

    Hmm.. ok well.....

Hey guys and thanks for the responses! Joegr, the fan is working, but it doesn't hit high speed until 230* F. before that, it is on, but now very high. it sounds like it is about to take off when the temp hits 230*... but the funny thing is the fan doesn't actually help cool anything :/ I'll...

Does anyone else find the front seats uncomfortable?

I like the seats in mine. (2nd gen) Sure, they are firm, but they don't cause my ass to hurt my any means. taken the car on a few long drives and never had ass fatigue. The firmness works well for me, as my lower back sometimes gets really pained if I don't have good support.

    Bought my first LS

Thanks. I will be doing that. Car hasn't been going into reduced power mode, but it is hovering between 218-226 under highway driving, and will spike to 230+ once I hit stop and go traffic. Anytime it goes above 230, I crank the heater to bring it down.

FINALLY getting a 2006, after a year of waiting

My '06 had 108K on it when I got it, (113K now) and I got it for $6,200 before taxes or any dealer BS... $7,000 Out the door (paid cash) I am doing the run of the mill cooling fixes (all plastic parts that tend to fail) and besides that, it has been running well. Aesthetically, it is a 7 out of...

2006 Overheating even after new parts.

Well I got my radiator yesterday, and I have tomorrow set aside for the install. Removing the fan and old radiator will give me a chance to inspect all hoses thoroughly also.

Beautiful car, and welcome to the 2006 club! (almost) I love what the 2006's look like in white. I was lucky and found one in black, but I am actually a fan of the white also. Beautiful car!
