I have a 2002 Lincoln Ls and a 2005 Lincoln LS both V6. The 2005 is not shifting right. I manually had to shift gears to get it home the other day. After letting it cool down I test drove and seemed to have problems with every gear. The 2002 seems to have problems when you give it a lot of gas...
I have a 2005 Lincoln LS that keeps showing a door ajar symbol on the dash. Is there a way to find out which door it is that is messing up? Thanks for any help!
Will the receiver/dryer get it to work? I have an 2002 and when I spin the clutch on the front by the pully it has more resistance while turning than the 2005 does.
I had emptied the R-134a out of the system last year pretty stupid huh? But those little do it yourself bottles didn't have enough pressure to fill it up so I took it in this year to have them add it. So when I had emptied the AC the car told the compressor not to run? The quote was for $800...
I took my 2005 LS in to have the AC checked. The computer diagnostic said everything was fine. So he filled up the freon. He said it was totally out of freon before he filled it. My paper says Pressure switch on compressor is keeping compressor from engaging. He gave me a quote for a new...
Jiffy Lube has filled my hydraulic fan motor with radiator fluid. This happened in 8-14-2014 I have only driven 1000 miles on the car. Did this cost me my engine or compromise it?
THe ac isn't working. When I noticed I looked at the low side pressure and it was way high so I professionally removed refrigerant and refilled to proper level and it just seems like the ac isn't turning on.
So I have an ac problem with my 2005 lincoln ls. I run the self diagnoses for the heater and ac and the code is 12 65 is that a code to replace the Blend Door Actuator? Thanks Jerod
Sounds good. I have looked at it a while back and the solenoid had a lot of engine grease, oil, and road grime on it. I sprayed it off as best I could but access isn't real good so yea I will pull the starter and solenoid and replace. Thanks for all the help. You guys are awesome.
I have replaced the IAC valve. When it won't start the I turn the key to the on position to engage the starter but nothing happens the starter does not engage. I've switched the battery, clockspring, the relay. Made sure that the battery cable has good connection behind the left front tire...
THe car only messes up when I leave the house right. It eventually always starts. I have started it a million times in the driveway and it never messes up. I've switched out the battery and the relay. Haven't checked at the starter when it won't start yet for power.
