Putting hinges on the cutout might be an added plus also. I like the Saab design. I need a ski cutout too, so people can still sit in the rear seats. I only take the LS up to Tahoe when I know that no chains are required.

My 05 blew hot air last week. It was caused by a bad water heat valve assembly. A $500 repair, still under warranty. I thought it was the compressor.

The updates just give you newer roads and points of interest. Same graphics. I can let the 05 dvd go for $20.

I just upgraded my map DVD to 2008, 6d for $199 ouch ! Original map dvd came with car in March 2005, it says map release 3d on it. Anyone still using the 03 map might see some value in purchasing this for a few dollars from me.

Great performance After only 28k miles I had to replace front pads and rotors. Their was quite a high ridge on the outside of the rotor. Lincoln must use soft metal rotors for some reason. Anyway I've been using a combination of Powerslot cyro rotors and Akebono Euro pads with great results...

Your LS looks great. I just need to attach my spoiler now. May I ask how you attached the rear spoiler ? The printed factory directions I received from Team Ford called for some additional adhesive points as well as the red and green double stick tape.

My 05 LS started making the steering wheel noise about a month ago. I only have 21k on it.

The problem with after market warranty companies is they can repair your car with used parts. (junkyard engines, transmissions etc.)

What happened to the idea of buying 05-06 and building that up ?

For those members who recently purchased the factory spoiler that came on the 02 LSE for my 05 LS. I have a question for you. I trying to make sense of the position of the red double stick tape. It doesn't make contact with anything. The green tape holds the top half of spoiler to the trunk...

Those tabs are important, do not cut them off. You have bend them 90 degrees. I set mine out in the hot sun and then it was easy to flex them. I got the original rivets for the side valances from Bill at team ford. The rear valance uses the existing 2 large bolts.
