05 map DVD

I just upgraded my map DVD to 2008, 6d for $199 ouch !
Original map dvd came with car in March 2005, it says map release 3d on it.
Anyone still using the 03 map might see some value
in purchasing this for a few dollars from me.

I was debating on getting this disc, my garmin was much more nice even though the linclon disc is made by garmin. is the 08 disc better than the 06 disc? minus the fact that it has updated roads. And does anyone know of a way to get the DVD player able to play movies for less than $300? I found some modules to do it but they are $300+.

does it change the interface of the nav screen or does it just add the new roads n stuff ??

The updates just give you newer roads and points of interest. Same graphics.
I can let the 05 dvd go for $20.
