A/C Blowing hot air

well, its about that time, my compressor took a dump,.. need a new one.. does anyone know where I can get one, or what would be the most cost effective way to fix this problem? i was quoted at around 700$ for a new one.

My 05 blew hot air last week. It was caused by a bad water heat valve assembly. A $500 repair, still under warranty.
I thought it was the compressor.

i took it to a friends body shop.. its the compressor.. team ford sells the compressor for 96$
