    Which coil conversion is best?

what shocks then? What shocks do you recommend with the colil conversion? I've recently converted to a Struttmaster on all 4 wheels and the rear seems to rattle like a shock would do. the shocks were replaced earlier with (I think) monroe's. Sugestions??

    electric air management

I tried searching the forums before posting but there seems to be no info on this subject. Thanks for the look though. I do believe it's emissions related. I think it pumps air into the exhaust or something like that. Never noticed it until I changed the air ride out and unplugged the suspension...

    air ride conversion problem

Yes, that was the first thing I did. The noise sounds like a pump running and might have always been there but the sound of the suspension pump probably covered it. Don't have a clue but I'll keep looking. Just thought someone else might have had this experience. By the way, I know the...

    air ride conversion problem

There's still a pumping sound when I crank the car. I've pulled both plugs from the module, removed the 60a fuse, even went under the wheel well and unplugged the compressor (or least I thought) and the noise is still there! Ideas????? Oh yea, the noise stops after 30 sec. Tmrbiker:confused:

    Mark LSC rear end confusion!!!

I've been reading for days now all of the different opinions concerning ratios and repairs in the "IRS" Lincoln Mark VIII and now that I'm totally confused, let me please ask a question! My 98 LSC obviously had the unit changed by the previous owner based on another post saying LSC's had a...

    noise in rear

 I have noticed a grinding sound "like a rear wheel bearing" coming from the rear. By weaving the car while going down the road, the sound quits when I turn it right leading me to think its in the right rear. Do the 1998 Mark 8's have rear bearings that can cause this? Thanks Tmrbiker

Smokin' Lincoln They were changed about 2000 miles ago. The skip doesn't bother me as much as how it filled my garage with smoke when cranked. TMR

    smokin' LSC

I have a 98 LSC that for some reason starting smoking when I cranked it today, It has never done this before. I know the valve stem seals might be questionable with 105000 miles but it happened all at once. Also, it appears to have a skip when started but clears up after a minute. Any...

    1998 Lincoln Mark VIII LSC

Bought recently from a great lady and did the usual repairs (A/C Blend Door) and other misc. things. I will be doing a complete brake job soon to replace probably everything. Car looks and runs great while still averaging 25.6 MPG on the road. TMRBIKER

    a/c problem

I have a '98 LSC and have replaced the heater blend motor and was wondering if anyone has had temperture control problems after the install or had the problem of the system monitoring the temp. It seems to be doing a very poor job regulating on auto. It tries after changing the temp settings...

    1998 Mark VIII heater box

My temperture control doesn't work and the dealer said the "heater box" was the problem. Is this the whole heater case? There must be a better way. Anyone out there have a suggestion on what else could be the problem? Tom

Soon to be a Lincoln owner again. Had a '90 Continental but sold it to drive my F-150. The car was just to much trouble. I said I would never own another Lincoln but the '98 Mark VIII LSC I looked at seems to be a great car. I have to find out before purchase though about the temp control. It...
