Becouse I did not like the way this turned out. To me it just looked out of place, Not factory looking.

BTW crossover is not chrome, its polished steel...
 
Its does look good, looks better with the intake ear deleted.
Sure hope you clear coated that with high temp paint.. first time it gets wet it'll all rust if not
