Yeah, I don't typically do rebuilt parts, but with no luck finding one at the junk yard I had to purchase one at carquest. Hopefully it will work out though. Plus. the ones online where priced too high from a junked car in my opinion....

03 v6 with 187,000 miles on the body....rebuilt trans last year and recently the motor this year May. So I would say I have under 15k on the engine and trans. There was nothing wrong with the engine before it was rebuilt but I didn't want any surprises in the future so I did it anyway.

The same thing happened to me in the parking lot on the same exact side and headlight. I feel your pain, but at least you are getting it fixed. I was lucky because the person that hit mine left a note on the window and I was able to contact there insurance company.
