    Quick question about coils

I noticed, after having spent some time away from this site that it was more difficult to search topics I read before. I'm sure partly because of threads like this cluttering my search results. But also(just to cut new guys some slack) because I don't remember offhand the name of threads that...

    sway bar bushings

Thanks, I'm doing the ball joints/tie rods/end links etc on it right now was thinking of doing bushings while I'm at it....but I think I'll hold off and wait to see how it feels when I'm done with all of this first.

    sway bar bushings

For those that have done it on the gen II how difficult was it to cut them off? I'm just concerned about space. I remember on my Gen I there wasn't much room. What did you use? Cut off wheel? Dremmel? Sawzall?

    Rear '02 Calipers

$46 for front about $90 for rears at Oreilly. On rock auto you can get the rears for $40 to $50 on the low end, Motorcrafts are $71 which isn't too bad.

    Rear '02 Calipers

Rock auto is where I buy 90% of my parts. I can get better quality parts for prices at or lower than the cheap/crappy brands at places like autozone typically. http://www.rockauto.com/ Also....if I'm buying from a parts store I usually use O'Reilly's. They tend to have a better selection...

    2006 ls

For what it's worth. I have an 02. I love the car. Since I fixed everything(thanks a ton to this site and people like you) it's been a great car. I didn't buy this one. It was my dad's. He died in motorcycle accident about a month ago. Just saying, I'm not here complaining about this...

    2006 ls

The sway bar bushings...on 06 they're molded on right? So I either have to replace entire sway bar or figure out a way to cut the old ones off?

    2006 ls

Good deal, is there any particular coil right now that's preferred? Just get Motorcraft? I remember at one time people said get Delphi...they're about $11 cheaper on Rockauto. I don't mind spending the extra $90 for the Motorcraft. But if there's no point I'll keep my money.

    2006 ls

Also I noticed...Parts are REALLY hard to get for this car. I think much harder than my 02 so far anyways.

    2006 ls

For a rather unfortunate reason I now own a 2006 LS. I still have my 02. I could have swore that posters here said most of the problems that were associated with Gen 1s were resolved with Gen 2, especially later ones. However, in the month that I've had it I've already had one window go, the...

Rear Toe Link / Tie Rod / Lateral Bar, options other then ford?

Mine are doing fine. For what it's worth I replaced the sway bar bushings and the rattle is gone.(different thread where guy thought his rattle was from these parts)

    Goodbye LS

Yes. I absolutely prefer RWD. It's not even close actually. (Spent 12 years driving in Michigan) Plus was there anything more fun than taking your girlfriend to a big empty parking lot and scaring the crap out of her?

    COP replacement 2000 LS V8

Apparently the cost to test then is about the cost to replace them. It I'd advised you replace all at once anyways. Also replace spark plugs at same Time.

Can't Find Coil Springs and Struts

As far as I know the different shocks are compatible the difference is firmness. You have to buy motorcraft though to get the exact same setup. Monroe only offers one option, that will probably be pretty soft....or more like the non sport as far as ride goes.
