Update-- Had the radio out several more times. Could not find a loose connection and to boot, there are no bulbs that are visible. Most likely LED's judging by the solid state circuit board preventing you from seeing that area. Keith

I just want to clarify. Sorry to seem ignorant. It lights at a low glow when your parking lights are on. Then gets brighter when you step on the brake? If this is correct, when no headlights are on it just works as a brake light? sorry again, thank you. Keith

I know this topic is beaten to a fault but please bear with me. I have never seen it up close, (mine is broken). Does the neon light work as a brake light as well as a running light? If the lights are on does the brake light feature still work if it does?? Thank you in advance. Keith
