Rear Neon Light

I know this topic is beaten to a fault but please bear with me. I have never seen it up close, (mine is broken). Does the neon light work as a brake light as well as a running light? If the lights are on does the brake light feature still work if it does?? Thank you in advance.

Yup, nice sexy light across the back end, and when you hit the brakes, it gets sexier

I just want to clarify. Sorry to seem ignorant. It lights at a low glow when your parking lights are on. Then gets brighter when you step on the brake?

If this is correct, when no headlights are on it just works as a brake light?
