just rolled 132k last night, strut rod bushings are bad again. 10th set this year.

jmod, cat back 2.5 inch exhaust with x pipe, 255 walbro. sitting on intrax springs in the front cut strutmasters in the back. tokico blues all the way arround. 1.25 sways, with 20k on the front end.

the sound system consists of a clarion dvd nav unit stock jbl in the doors with a jl w3 12" 500 watt jl amp turned about half way up.

love this old car and can not wait to paint it this spring. all i need is one week of 70 degree weather.

"Ain't much"?

It's another one of my favorite cars in the whole wide world!

i like those rims, goes good with that color mark. what color do you plan on painting it?

I don't know what you guys are doing and never had a issue with the moog strut rod bushings

My 98 has them no issues in the year I've owned they look like the day I installed them and my 1993 has them as well and there over 2 years old and once again look like day I installed them...you guys must be over tightening or not enough...cause I yet to have a problem and I have installed them on 10 plus tbirds, 5 cougars and all 4 marks I've owned

strange. first time i braked hard with my moog SRBs i heard a thunk. yep. they split. went to oem, no problems since.

I have Autozone Strut Rod bushings on my LCA's now. Can't wait to see how long they last :shifty:

Not everyone can drive slow in a mark
I beat the crap out of mine moog ones suck.

+1 i have installed them in every one of my 11 personal marks, and probably 3 dozen customers marks over the last 12 years and never once had one fail. you guys are either tightening them way too much or putting them on backwards. i would join the band wagon about their crap quality but i cant because i have had nothing but perfect luck with them. i will continue to use them too until the day one fails, but 12 years is a pretty good track record.

good looking daily, i had the same exact car, opal grey with ebony interior. mine was laying on is balls when i got it though it was on major lowered coils!

How do you like the ride and handling with that suspension setup? Just curious. I feel like a damn bipolar person trying to make a decision here because my front bags are shot and I don't know if I should go with new airbags up front or coils all around. I'm fairly certain that my airride is fine except for the bladders up front. The car has 145K miles on it now.

Think of it this way, how many people can say they run a mid 13 and have air ride? It's a key feature of the car.

i am going to keep air on my 95. imho the air ride is a cool feature for comfort and luxury. i personally like the ride of my car. super stiff, bit noisy but handles like a European car. i have 2 complaints. the sway bar i got for the front was the old design and it smacked my ac compressor and seperated the 2 housings and the end link holes are wallowed out. (long story) . the srbs it just eats them like candy.

if i had all the money in the world and it to do over again i would buy dlfs spring perches, h&r cup springs and these tokico shocks. the addco bars make a world of difference and imho 1.25" is big enough. my next step is chassis braces those are a must from what i understand.

i guess it just depends what you are looking for. if you have rough roads or are looking for a plush ride, go air. if you want to increase your corner entry speed and don't mind dodging every pothole, speed bump, and small animal go springs.

Damn dude, sounds rough! I went w/the Eibach kit & my 93 sits @ the same stance yours does & it actually feels way better on springs than it did on the sensor lowered bags. YOU are right, bags are a nice cool option to have on the car but unless you have some nice cash to go new on all air ride components, it's just going to be a PIA to maintain. Nice car by the way. Looking forward to the day you paint it. If it looks nice now, should look evil once freshly painted!
