New headlight bulbs for a gen1-any opinions?

Thanks man --- agreed
Dang nolimit that mark looks pretty sharp - especially with them black seats and doors plus the light color console and dash:gr_hail:

thats one of my old cars, one of the many lol! i sold that to terry after his 94 burned to the ground!

yikes they burn!!!?? something else to worry about -- sorry to hear about it going up in flames.

no not really, without making fun of terry again for a stupid mistake that taught him well, he had an accident with his 94 in his garage that shouldnt have been avoided but, he didnt know what would have happened. like many of us he was trying to fix the car himself and had a boo boo. :q:q:q:q happens and i tried my best to help a guy out in distress.

Yes, that stupid mistake did teach me well. I don't mess with injectors anymore, even though I know what my mistake was. I did end up with a nice clean garage minus the clutter but I did lose my pride and joy. Had a lot of money and time tied up in that car just to watch it blow up and burn within 3 minutes. I still feel like I'm in it though with the same interior. :D

Actually, yes, just buy bulbs. Buy whatever HID ballasts you feel like, preferably 55w. Then buy Philips 85122+ bulbs, so they actually match and so they don't :q:q:q:q out in a couple months.

I meant that as in just buying halogen bulbs, like he was planning on doing. 55 watt is overboard when you have good chrome backing but that's just my opinion.

Thanks for the comment. Took a good days work to get that interior all installed but it was well worth it. I used the black interior that came out of the 94 that burned. I just about blew the front end off the car lol but the interior suffered no damage.

$32 for the Xentec kit?!? Damn, I payed too much. I have a new unit in the box never opened and couldnt sell them. Now I see why. Damn. For $32 shipped I guess I will just keep this kit. I am sure some day I will find something to throw it in.

yep i just picked up a set for $32 and change on ebay for my lsc housings.
even if reliability isn't great, they are so cheap i can't complain.
