Just thought I would post it as I said I would

Here is the link to the car in it's glory

So how about some back story? How did it get to how it looks in the Cardomain thing to how it looks on that trailer? Also, what'd you spend on it?

It went through a ditch and into a field demoing the car. How bad I do not know at this time I need to start tearing it down to determine the extent of the damage. Right now it starts and runs but I have a low coolant indication and there is no power steering. The left rear wheel is bent in, the hood alignment is off as you can see and the trunk lid is misaligned as well.

I hope that there is no rust on this car as I am pretty sure the possible frame tweak can be fixed no proble, I have seen and repaired worse. From Domenics Cardomain description you can see all the mods that have been done to this car and it would be a shame to just tear it apart for these parts.

Yes it would. Someone put a lotta love into that car, would be great to see her ride again.

your the guy who bought that car.
that's a sweet ride.
hope it gets back on the road sooner than later.

More Pictures

Yes it is Bill. It needs bags or I need to diagnose why the front falls on it's face after two or three hours. I loaded it on the trailer and turned off the air ride to tie her down and when we got to where we needed to unload it three hours later she was down. I am going to try and get to investigating things on this car but I can only do so much where it is stored as there is no heat and it is starting to get too cold to work in the barn with no heat. Have the 96 in the garage with heat getting a new heart right now.

So who owned it in between you and the guy whose car domain page you listed?? Did somebody buy it from him and trash it or something? Looks like it was stolen and joy rode to death...

According to the domain page, he sold the car in early 2009. That next owner wrecked the car sometime in late 2010/early 2011.

The car was wrecked I think in September or October 2010. He listed it for sale here on LVC Novemeber 2010 and I bought it. I was to pick it up in March 2011 but weather was killer then and the travelling with a trailer from Rhode Island to Toronto would have been hell. In all the arrangements I found out that I was going to have major trouble bringing the car into Canada until I found a loop hole. If the vehicle being imported into Canada is 15 years or older all restrictions fall off the import for some reason. The car is a 97 but the compliance label build date is 09/96 so I had to wait until September to bring it across the border. I had the car shipped from Rhode Island to Buffalo New York to a holding yard and then I went over with the trailer and whizzed through customs. Duty and taxes cost me $150.00.

I am heading to the barn tomorrow to empty out the parts that came with the car, I bought everything the guy had for Marks so the car trunk and cabin was filled with parts and I need to do a final inventory of what I have. I even bought the XCal2 that has the tune. I am getting my buddy who is a master body man over there tomorrow to do a slight evaluation on the car but I am pretty sure I am going to need to pull it apart to some degree to do a proper evaluation on the unibody to see if it is damaged or where it is damaged and how extensive it is. As I have said, I have seen worse and fixed it myself so I am confident this car will ride again. Discovery of rust will most likely finish it off though. It was an east coast car but I have my fingers crossed.

Guys, you have to remember I have two other Marks so if it comes to parting all the good stuff will be going to one of my other Marks. Sorry but that is just how it is.

Oh and another thing, I am in Canada so shipping would be a bitch. I hate to say it but I hear that all the time or the other one, I will not ship to Canada.

Here are a few more I have for now.
