I took a few shots for the calendar. These are the few that i've narrowed it down to. Now im unable to choose. I like the pic. infront of the dock doors, makes my wheels POP ! But i think it looks too much like the September shot in this years calendar. So what do you guys think ?

I like the first one.

The bridge one would be nice if your car was in a better position.

Have you heard of tire shine? :shifty:

#1 is nice.

I'd like a front shot with the same background as #3 and some tire dressing as well ;) or #1.

That bridge would be ideal for a sleek angel eyes photo op!

I say #1 out of these three.

As it stands, #3, but if you can get a better angle/position on the bridge, that would be killer!

I'd like #3 with the car turned around, the camera closer to the car so you get more of a skewed view, tire shine, and the front wheels turned to the left so the chrome was facing the camera. Basically it would look like the car was being slung around the corner when you took the photo. The background I would leave the same.

Don't care for the loading docks, and the bridge looks neat, but the car doesn't fit in the picture very well like that. If you have angel eyes then that would be pretty cool coming through the bridge.

I like the third one. It's beautiful car but something about a nice rear gets the pulse pumpin'

IMO Too many dock shots around LVC. I agree on #2 with a different position.

Also x100 on tire shine. It just irritates the crap out of me when I see tires so dry.

Nope! :p. Actually I can't stand the stuff. I had it on in the first two pics. The third, none. I use it sparingly on a rag after I wash off all the crud. If I just spray it on, it runs and gets everywhere. So If i have to wipe off excess shiney stuff . I just apply it with a rag.
Im going to try and take a few better shots at the bridge, if there's a sunny day any time soon. Calling for rain next few days.

Yeah yeah yeah ! I'm still building the courage to open my 06 headlights. I love the way they look.

That's what I like about that shot!

This is why you don't get cheap sprays. Get the Meguiars purple gel tire shine. It is more expensive, but worth it. Plus it lasts forever. (oh and it smells bomb)

Seriously, until your shot came around I think my car was the only one flashing ass in any of the calendar pics, it wasn't a great shot but I liked it. Waiting to take a few more before the date draws near.

For tire shine I've used a few but the latest one which I absolutely love is Meguiars Endurance Tire Spray. It goes on easy, has lasted over 2 weeks now and smells awesome! I just put this on a foam applicator, give 'er a sprits on the tire and spread evenly. then go over it with a dry foam one to pick up the excess and "BAM!" tire looks so good, it makes you wanna slap yo mama.

I found that some of the products like Hot Shine High Gloss Tire Coating go on thick and gets slung off of the car after it's applied. It will also turn into a brown greasy gunk that takes a pressure washer to get off (giggity) after a few days from road dirt, brake dust, and what not. I assume these are for show cars that don't move too much.

Products such as your classic Armorall I thought never lasted long but did the job for maybe a few days at best.

But this isn't about me and my tire shine experiences. Again nice looking LS, I like the painted plastic and surround.

I prefer surf city beyond black tire pro. It's all I use. A little more matte finish, but I dig it. I'm not a huge fan of overly glossy dressings:

If I can find the original of this shot, it willbe mycalendar entry.

Thanks guys ! :DI am going to take a few more at the bridge. My bro was telling me about another good place last night so im going to hit that up as well. I had a hard time positioning my car at the bridge cuz i had stopped there twice before and on nice days that little turn around gets full of cars quickly. I politely asked a guy to move his jeep so i could get that shot! When another woman seen what i was doing she was nice enough to wait on me. So ill be a little more aggressive next time and get "the money maker!" IMHO. I like the ass end of the LS way more than the front end. Im not lucky enough to NOT have a front plate here in ohio, that and no angeleyes..... unless someone is willing to be so kind ...... hmmmmm! :shifty: Anyone want to help a poor neglected girl get some eyes for next year ?!
