Is this a members car?

Prime example of a car owner spending just as much if not more on his wheels then the vehicle itself.

lol, I mean you can get nice wheels from Brad @ tcws for around 850 shipped, add tires to that and it's still reasonable..

I'd hate to know what those 3pc's cost..

Imho anything over $1500 on wheels/tires new is retarded. I did it once and i'll never do it again.

I kinda like the car, but how the hell can you possibly think you can get 8 grand for it? I don't understand how people can possibly think their vehicles of that age, and mileage are worth that much.
 
The only way I support his price is if he truly doesn't want to sell the car unless some crazy lunatic gives him what he's asking. He threw a sky high price out there to see if someone jumps at it. That's the only reason he possibly did this. I won't sell my 93 but if someone were to give me $6,000 for it I'd let it go in a heartbeat!
 
That makes sense. But still, how/who the hell could possibly think that thing is worth what he's asking? I just don't understand how people figure their asking prices.
 
imho it is just a good sign that the value of these cars will go up in the future. I dont understand why there so cheap now. show me another car with as much class, style, power, amenities and potential in in coupe form for under $2000. if you look hard enough you can find a drivable mark for under $1000. its crazy how cheap our cars are.

I've been asked that too since my asking prices are way high but think about it. If I ask way low is someone going to argue me up in price :confused:

I got a M725 with a LT1 in it for $1800 and took it to the Englishtown swapmeet and when people asked how much I told them 10G's cause it had 8000 original miles on the chassis and 4000 miles on the engine. Didn't sell it at the swap meet but got $3200 for it when I sold it later after I took it to 15000 miles and just couldn't afford to put gas in it anymore :shifty:

I gotta agree on that!

I got my first Mark cause I was stuck after my S10 Blazer lost a head gasket and my engineer friend sold me his for a $1000 cause it had a check engine light on and needed to pass inspection. At 209,000 miles (got with 130k) the trans finally let go and I sold it for $800 so I was sold on getting another cause they are great cars if you can turn a wrench yourself :D

lol, the wheels i bought were for a diff car, but the car was also worth 5 times what the wheels cost so i could justify spending it at the time. I only spent 500 3 years ago for these with brand new tires. But now they're fuxored so come next spring i'll prob pick up some new ones.
 
I hope his car is worth what he thinks it is. Makes mine the super duper deal. :lol:
 
If your trying to sell the car PLEASE LOOM the freakin wires, how sloppy, asking ratarded money, then calling it "Custom" then when you pop the hood looks like someone threw spaghetti on the intake!!
