Engine Stand Bolts

What size and length bolts do I need to get to secure my block to the engine stand?

All my engine stands the tubes that the bolts go thru to bolt arms to back of engine are way longer then any stock bellhousing bolts. I have like 10 different motor stand bolts sets.

That's the problem, finding bolts long enough to go through the tubes.

take the trans bolt to fastenal and tell them how long you need them. they will have them not prob

i had a problem too with the tubes on my stand, but the two bolts that go through the motor mounts thats hold the engine to the K member were perfect length for my stand, so i got 4 of them and keep them on my stand from now on in case i ever put another block on it.

They don't normally have a very good selection of metric stuff...

I got mine from Ace hardware.

Wow, I don't know why I didn't think of this before. I just got plenty of tranny bolts jus laying on the ground around cars with the motors already gone. The were the best price as well. Free

Ace is the place. i am so happy they are putting an Ace in the plaza right down the street from my house where blockbuster used to be! finally a usefull store!
