there are 2 more in my photobucket , all 3 are different places and i didnt feel comfy doing any of them! i live in a very highly settled county there is no where safe to make a good run and good video unless its night time!

Now that, is what a 1-2 should sound like. Glad it's all good and back together. What are you doing tomorrow pecker head... I texted you, I have tomorrow off.

as far as i know nothing, my phone is dead and i forgot to put it on charge, i will now and leave it while we go swimming and have a cook out at gramma and papa's house! the kids wont leave me alone and neither will my mom so off we go, i'll text ya later skin rod.

here, here is another one, little first gear tire spin and 2nd gear chirp lol! its actually left a little sideways lol.

Ugh. My interwebz provider has something against loading photobucket videos. :(

OK, got to see them finally. I see you need to have your 2-3 shift changed. Thats costing you big time in 0-60 since its going in 3rd at 58. Looks like its being comanded at 55 or 56mph. Should change the command to 63.
Like the 1-2 shift though.

I really need to tune mine. :(

bill, now that i have driven the car quite a bit my 2nd to 3rd gear is horrible, it does shift wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too soon even worse under normal acceleration, watch this video and you will see, when i take off normally the car is in over drive before 40 mph, which is fine around town, but when i get on the car hard, it wont hold 2nd gear long enough to get the car really moving, i dont know what to do, if i send the puter back to brandon i wont be able to drive my car it wont have a computer.

i just watched this video again the shift from 2nd to 3rd doesnt seem that bad in this vid but i will take another vid to show its just way too soon.

I can see you have many settings that are way off in the trans. Pressure needs to be dropped about 10%, partial load shift curves need to be all raised via MPH (not RPM) scales, WOT shift curves need to be changed for the 2-3 and 3-4 shifts too.
Since the computer does use the VSS to calculate most of these parameters you may get by with putting a 4.10 VSS gear in the trans. They do not make a 4.30 one so 4.10 is as close as you can get. Pretty sure you need the 23 tooth gear.

great so basically it sounds like i need to take the car to a tuner and pay to have it done because i cant play musical mail computers, i should have just bought a hand held and learned how to do it myself i cannot afford to have this thing tuned i do not have extra money right now, as it is the shop is going bye bye as soon as i finish a customers car no more shop for me, time to clean out my garage and make room to put my tool box in it. i'm gonna have to live with the car for now i cant do anything about it. except sell it!

Put the correct gear in the VSS... that would be a start.

And you can't just buy a hand held tuner and just start tuning just like that.

Geesh. Mood swings much? Get the right VSS gear and take it from there. Your trans will shift completly different then and should shift right.

lmfao, i am so glad i can get all the benefits of being here i asked if there was anything i needed to do other than the tune and swapping the rear diff and no one said a word about that gear. i'm glad i know now. anyone point me in the direction to the correct one? i know nothing about this :q:q:q:q.

Jamie, I am too lazy to go back through all the old posts but you can if you are so inclined. When you first talked about 4.30 gears I said you need the VSS gear. I think its in the "What did you do" thread.

There is no correct gear for 4.30's you'll need a SpeedCal or similar. Doing what Laser said would be the closest and easiest way for now...

I would think that getting the 4:10 gear would help alot. I talked to my Brother about this once and I swear he said you can get a some kind of converter to correct this. He talked like it was no big deal. I'll ask again.

SpeedCal.

no problem.

yep. a little annoying, and why i'm not going with 4.30s for now. maybe later.

I should take mine out of the car now that I'm mostly back to stock and sell it. It's great to have in there though even without the gears, as I can correct different sized tires and gears like I still have in it better...

You don't need a speedo gear with a gen 2! I've had 4.30 gears in a gen 1 and gen 2.
