she is back home, sitting pretty out in front of the house, well not really pretty, its actually digusting and dirty and needs a serious bath, but thats coming tomorrow, along with cleaning my shop what a mess i made in there over this damn car. the 97 is back on the road and all fixed. i replaced the dip stick tube o-ring after work with one from ford this time, and no more leak, i took my wife for a ride to the shop tonight to pick her mark up so she could have it back and she doesnt like my car, the whole way to the shop i could see it jerking her head when it shifted, she says it feels broken, i said what your neck? she said no the car i dont like it it feels wrong, i said no babe it feels SO right lol!!! so all i got left to do is figure out whats making noise in my pass front brake and i am waiting for elliot to send me a cup holder assembly so i can put the console back in. i am sooooooooooooooooooooooo glad this horse sh-t is over finally!! now back to my regular life!
 
Well it is about FREAKIN time there Buddy. For awhile there I was thinking that you were going to tell us you had given up and showed us a pic of your new ride...........

andrew, i'm deffinetly down for a meet now for sure, i need it after this ordeal. my wife thinks she is richard petty anytime we are driving near each other, because i am smart and dont want a ticket, she always pulls ahead of me, i want her to get a ticket and learn the hard way! otherwise i would wipe the 98 off the face of the earth with my 97!!!
i want to personally thanks both Rich and Elliot for supplying me with the trans, even though it wasnt free, the deal we worked out is easier than me paying cash for the trans, so thank you two big time, thanks to Andrew for answering some more wiring questions! and Thanks to Big Mike for the 14 qts of mercon 5 even though i will have it waiting for you in my shop to go back in your car, but it saved me money for now! now its time to plan a meet, before it gets too hot and we can do the meet anywhere i dont care where, i would actually love to have a whole weekend meet with all of us down in the keys, we all get a group rate at a hotel and get totally smashed in the hotel pool and get some killer pics of the cars in the keys, i'm thinking outloud!!! i dont know i am up for anywhere in florida!

oh and i am sorry Thanks to Brandon too for helping me out in the PCM department, i am happy right now but it will change, someone or something this weekend will F it up, dont get too excited!!
 
A nice light weight drive shaft would be nice addition to those 4:30's
 
Jamie, the way that you describe the trans and its way of harsh shifting, and the way you like it, I have a ? for u. Is the harsh shifting due to the T/C upgrade? And will that have a ill effect or pre-mature issues in the future because of the harsh shifting?

I personally think that my trans shifts too gingerly and soft and considering a Power Maxx PCM from LMS to help with increasing the shift curve. But I am looking at all possibilities for improvement in the shifting characteristics. Thnaks for any info on this.

i have a 1 piece steel driveshaft in my car and its lighter than the stock driveshaft. bill it shifts hard because i j-modded the valve body and brandon also bumped up line pressure so the 2 of them together is why it shifts hard, its basically a shift kit, without a box full of parts to install. i'll take a video when i have time, christ i just got the thing back together 100 % today relax lol!!!
