I see lots of places that may show to have it in stock online but when I call them they say they dont have and cant get. I know they are no longer being made but I hoped someone on here may know where to find one.... well two.

My drivers shock is shot but I have two perfect bags. After realizing that a new OEM one would be the same cost as two Arnotts or a pair of Konis it makes more sense to just go ahead and do the Koni conversion. I have to put a new tire up front already and dont wanna keep killing tires cause the dampner cant controll the movement.

DLF has apparently purchased the last pair ever to exist. He got them from somewhere up here in Canada. I was reading this on LOD the other day.

Bill, you are going to have to really search for them if they even exist and then it is really going to be about price. Once and if you get them, you are good because they are rebuildable as well.

Dont suppose you wanna sell yours? :D

Wont work. The ONLY one that fits is the 8641 1209SPORT.

Just found out thats the right number after all. I have a couple places to call tomorrow to see if they do in fact have them.

Bill, check with DLF and see where in Canada he found them. Maybe from that I can work some more from this end and see if I can dig some up.

I will start checking in the mean time and start on the left coast with a good friend of mine. I will keep you and the forum posted.

And right now mine are not for sale!!!!:p:D

If their new ones didnt have the built in threaded spring perch I would try them but too expensive to experiment with. :(

This really sucks cause its gonna screw with my whole build on this car. My white one was setup near perfect but needed a bit more dampning then stock dampners would allow.

I could cheat it a little and use the larger sway bars and find some poly bushings to press into the LCAs but its still not the same. I am keeping air on this car and may have to sacrifice the ultimate handling. :(

Spoke to a place in NY that has agreed to order 50 of them if Koni would get off their arses and make them.

Now I have to call Koni and get her done!

Well that sucks. Even at 50 they cant make them because certain parts can no longer be made. :(

I am seriously bummed about this.

BTW Doug, Lee says hi.

Yeah, I could have told you that it wasn't going to happen. :(

I must have skipped over that post. Only choice I have now is taking apart a perfectly good passenger assembly and put the drivers bag and hat on it.

Ill just have to use the 1 3/8" anti sway bars and find some poly bushings to press in the LCAs.

I'd like to know just what these "unique" parts are. They look just like any of their other inserts. Internally there shouldn't be any big difference. The button head cap screw for the bottom is the only part that comes to mind, as the ones on mine were too long and I couldn't find the proper length ones anywhere, so I used a different style.

I guess there's no point in questioning it, but I still think it probably boils down to them not making any money on them.

Lee said there are three parts they can no longer get to make the assembly. He said the cartidges are so much thinner then everything else out there that the parts are hard to get.

Tein makes some very thin stuff so once I get the measurments from Doug then I can inquire if they have something that may work.

What kind of measurements do you need? I've literally got them sitting next to me right now.
