Who's car is this?

Wow...

I think I just came a little bit.

Yeah thats a good looking car for sure. I'd like to get my engine bay HALF that nice...

That is a really nice detail job on that ride.If I can get mine to get half as nice I think I would say I did pretty good.

Hopefully I can start soon.I have a really slow start.

Where did the battery cover and power steering cover come from?! I might just try my hand at making one. :)

Thanks to everyone for the compliments!

The battery cover is the stock unit with all of the lettering sanded off.. then painted.
The power steering tank is the Moroso aluminum tank made for the Mustang. The welded seams have been smoothed.. and the the tank was painted.

Thanks! It's been evolving for three winters. That pic doesn't show this year's changes.
The paint is from Express Paint.. They're an online store.

A dream to aspire to. The engine compartment is nicer than I thought possible.

Thank you very much.

Rerouting wires and new looms really help. I'll post some pics of what we did this year.

Most of the polished caps are from UPR. There are more you don't see. The caps available for the Mustang Terminators will fit this engine. Also the top of the brake fluid reservoir was painted Cordovan and the bottom was painted satin black.

Can not wait to see the pics! Now that you said that,I'm sure people will be on you like white on rice to see them.
I appreciate the help. Since I've seen the bay I've been online searching for goodies I can't afford. ;)

FLM, that engine bay is awesome!

Kudos on a job well done, but it's not over yet.

We need complete instructions...:D

I've seen it in person as well and it looks as good or better than the pics. Dean's a really nice guy too. He shows up at the LOD site every once in a while and he's been to Carlisle at least once.

Oops, looks like I missed page 2.

A quick shot of the interior.. and yes it's paint.. but the original CE parts are safely tucked away.

Do you have any more pics from the show you just went to that are updated? I think this has to be a the best example of inspiration of any Mark owner.

so was the steering wheel and shift knob that you painted from a ce as well? I've painted my radio trim but would like to do a shifter and wheel as well.

The wheel is from a CE that was wrecked in NY. The shifter is a re-pop that I bought on line.. it's actually carved from a solid hunk of wood.

Dean, are those hose clamps Gates PowerGrips? They really look clean. Did you use them everywhere or just where they're visible? I would think getting a heat gun into some of the nooks and crannies would be a pain.

Good eye! Yes they are Gates Power Grips. They were used wherever we could reach. BTW.. I do keep regular clamps in the trunk just in case.
