98 Cobra Complete Intake and Complete Set of Heads for $850? Good Deal?

Not worth it imo... See what he wants for just the intake, but thats just me.

Too bad SCP sucks and if you need to warrenty it then it will never happen cause Bills a douche.

He maybe but thankfully I haven't had to get that close and personal to him...didn't have any issues with stuff I bought but he did seem expensive. But all that aside if the manufacturer is backing up the warranty instead of Bill it is a good deal.

B heads are worth chit these days. That's not a good deal.

I have a set of bare heads some valve train parts, custom cams and a PSR Cobra intake I'll make you a deal on PM me if your interested.
Same lift just 10* less duration which you want with an automatic to help improve low end tq. I would bet that there is no more then 2hp to be had with the cam. If that.
Cobras have a less restrictive plenum, less restrictive exhaust and a smaller crank pulley and that adds up to a solid 15hp change.
Hell, on an auto you may lose a couple hp with the longer duration.

Gotcha, thanks for the info.

Just interested in building an awesome motor. What would you build if you had it to do all over again? I'm not wanting something crazy like Schultz, but something to b-slap something or someone if necessary without going to no2

For less then that $800 you can get some 99/01 C heads and a Cobra/Mach plenum and be better off.

If I did it over again I would get C heads with an 03/04 intercooler setup and a Whipple 2.3 or larger.

What kind of power you thinking with the blower set up on a forged bottom end?

I know two people with a Whipple 2.3 and stock Cobra internals. One is running 727rwhp at 18psi and the other is now at 788rwhp on 18psi (higher comp Aluminator block) and they are no where near their limits.
There is an 03 Cobra with the Teksid block and a nice forged kit and a pair of big ass turbos running 24psi and hes at 1280 rwhp.

I couldnt imagine having that kind of power. I went for a ride in Mikes car a couple years ago and it scared the chit out of me. He has drag radials and the car still can keep them spinning through 4th gear. You know you are riding with the pig dogs when he is at half throttle to 120mph and then nails it and the ass kicks out. Thats just way way way too much HP. I think if he topped out 6th gear the car would go back in time.

honestly, I just want to be able to spank or hang with most every domestic or import I pull up next to at a light..... and if they do dust me, they will respect me.

If you get the car anywhere in the sub 13.8 1/4 mile everyone will respect what you are driving without being obnoxious when you pull up next to them...that is why they are referred to as sleepers. If you want to blow their doors off put a stock motor with a s/c and a bottle of spray and you will do what you want of course with the proper gears. This is just my opinion.
