pushrod 5.0L were about as fast new 5.0L our doors are getting blown off
early gen 1's 14.3-14.7 i believe is the best they can mustard up stock
my 1987 5.0L 5 speed gt ran 14.8 on street tires and banging through gears like a mad man
end of last july i ran 15.7 in my old 93 one in sig picture and had a .157 RT wheel hopping out of the whole and all but that was with a full stereo system tools in the back seat and some other junk

Many box stock 2011 GTs are running 12.7-12.8 quarter miles. Dude I kinda know in Houston is running high 11's on drag radials and a tune. Cars are quite impressive on the strip.

I beg to differ. I have seen a Beetle beat a new AWD TT 911 in a one mile race with the VW being dropped from a plane.

God must have dropped a piece of gold from Heaven then. Might be an 1/8th but he would have beat his ass even more in the 1/4 because the Mark just don't say no in 2nd gear. The Stang guy was too busy trying to chirp tires while a "real car" whipped that ass.
