so this kid asks me

That's no new 5.0 in that 1/8th mile race.

I <3 Top Gear. I don't always agree, but it's a great show.

Top Gear on a Saturday? The American one sucks, in case that's what you saw. IDK, maybe it's because I like british humor, I'm just that tasteless!

It was British because some guy was testing out a BMW and the steering wheels was on the opposite side. Channel 264 on DirecTV and it came on yesterday. Then he raced another driver in a different BMW on a wet track and he lost. He had a guest on the show that came in and sat down on a car seat "bench style" with headrest. Like I said, maybe I caught a boring one.

Seinfeld is one of my favorites lol.

A few years ago, Top Gear changed from being a serious car review show, (somewhat like Fifth Gear) to a mainstream entertainment show. I'll watch it here and there, but I won't go out of my way to watch it.

Still, beats the most BORING car show I've ever seen - Two Guys Garage!

I like the old Top Gear, but I also like the new one. I guess it more of a ritual now, I just don't want to miss it. I do not love every episode, but they are funny, and they do some cool stuff. They have always done humorous and badass stuff though... but I really do miss the actual reviewing.

This was a fun segment...

Top Gear - Toyota Hilux on Yahoo! Video

There were some good spin-offs from Top Gear, such as Jeremy Clarkson's Motorworld, plus a whole bunch of DVD's. (Heaven and Hell etc.)

Ah yup, the good old Toyota Hilux - pretty solid - LOL. On the subject of solid Japanese vehicles, those Nissan Patrols are pretty good, too - used to see those things all over the Middle East - Mitsubishi Pajeros/Monteros/Shoguns too!

Oh, no - just messing around - still here in NC. I'll change the PM settings...
